Great report! I really appreciate reading it, my own experience had some similarities, like how quick and the intensity of the onset, it took me by surprise and initially had me thinking "ohh shit ohh shit, I think I've made a mistake" my anxiety level was high, then I started some breathing exercises, laid back and kept telling myself "everything will be alright" over and over again, then the anxiety started calming down, I then closed my eyes and thought ok let's do this, just let go, just let go, then any worry and anxiety I had disappeared and a intense wave of relaxation rolled over me.

That was the point where I couldn't talk or move for a few hours, and it was like a "worm hole" of "kaleidoscopic" like shifting patterns of colours including one's that don't exist here on earth opened up, and that's when the trip really began! It was so beautifully bizarre that try as I might I've never been able too even close articulate it, I've tried writing it down and tried articulating it in my mind and I've never been able too serve justice to how it deserves to be explained!

Hopefully if I'm successful with my attempt to cultivate my own, I can hopefully experience it a few more times then be able to put it into words!🀞🀞

Got my fingers crossed for you bud.

And yeah, anxiety is part of it when I do shrooms. And even though I highly enjoy the trips that are easy going, the ones I learn from are the hard ones and why I keep coming back

I don't take mushrooms to feel good and escape reality, I take shrooms to pull me back to reality and force me to realize that this life is a fucking gift, and the time I get with with my wife and kids are numbered so I better fucking cherish it right now, because tomorrow is not promised :uhoh:

Word

Life without death and uncertanty would be meaningless "death is like a morror in which the true meaning of life is reflected" and this is how I view mushroom trips. Knowing that anything can happen, that despair and disaster is always around the corner is what gives the trip its meaning and what makes the experience have educational properties for the mind and soul. If I just want to see weird patterns and cool colors I'll do a line of 2cb and not worry about potential existential crises

But then again I most frequently have tripped on 20-35g dried cubes but those trips arent as scary as 3.5 grams. Drinking a 35g tea is like being shot in the back of the head by a sniper you never saw coming, no time or room for existential crises, just a quick painless death and then lots of exploration in the phase of when the EGO starts integrating into reality again about 20-30min after the peak and then you still have 3-4h of extreme tripping plus a couple of more hours of intense afterglow. Your stomach will be the biggest issue with these doses and that's why always have dreamed about growing Azurescens or other types of similar strength, when I can achieve the same trip in under 10-12g

Thanks mate! I think I'm going to need all the help I can get πŸ˜‚

Mushrooms have definitely helped me appreciate things more and focus more on the good than the bad, they've also made me more aware of how what I say and do can effect others, that awareness has helped me a lot and has also made me more understanding of others.

Ahh great info guys xd

I should clarify I was specifically talking potency I wasn't talking about total different enzymes and whatnot there's tons of differences between fungi and potency doesn't always mean a rough time x

Xd cubensis for example I find very rough experience in general though azures are more potent I can do more of them and have a good time still xd

I wouldn't do more than 2g of my enigma or my start night cubensis not because of potency though just the way it shreds my gut and gives a disorienting headspace / noisy

Caerulescens is very quiet and overall enjoyable I like to listen to music n plan things out n think about how things are going in life with it though with bigger dose can be harsh on stomach still very enjoyable

Azurescens is silent though lotsa waves n colors n energy

Cubensis lotsa colors n heavy headspace and shreds my stomach

Pan cyans I've not had enough to really compare to xd only 2x

Yet to try schlerotia and will definitely expand this list soon 🀣

Il make my own thread eventually for different experiences for different fungi based on experience rather than potency as potency I think can be misleading
Psilocybe cyanescens can get very visual and probably my favorite trip if going for a larger dose

Most actives have 3-5 different molecules that all get converted into psilocin (I assume slightly different variations of psilocin) this could be the reason why trips feel different on different shrooms

For me Libert caps have a very agressive and sudden onset compared to cubes and Liberty caps have much higher psilocin levels than cubes, doesnt need to be converted first before it goes in the system hence the fast onset.

:hewut:

30g dry, dude that would make me barf rainbows for sure.

Biggest dose I ever took was 6,5g of semilanceata and that broke my shit in a way that change who I am

6.5g semilanceata is 15 or so grams of cubes, and 15g cubes is what changed who I was, after this experience there was no going back to 2.5g for me :bongload:

Just wanted to voice some appreciation for this community - the quality of information here is something special.

First time growing pans and it went pretty well. These are the Pan x mentioned a few pages back. I am curious if they are a stable hybrid? Based on the inaturalist exchanges posted by treefrog, my interpretation is that there aren't any reliable microscopy features to determine species (on account of cyans occasionally expressing two spored basidia). IE sequencing is required to differentiate?

Anyways, I have no idea what I'm doing but I am enjoying the learning process. I set aside some caps to try to get some prints. If I manage to be successful, I'm excited to see what F1 looks like. Regardless of the hybridization or not, it is fun to learn how to cultivate this organism through its full life cycle.

Kloakk do you keep the same humidity level with your t3 during pinning and during fruiting?

Yes, I manually mist Bisporus if the caps look dry though.

Thanks, that's really a testament to the quality of information you and others have provided here. Good explanations of the surface conditions needed, evap/condensation cycles, casing prep etc make it possible to succeed before developing a real understanding of the thing I'm trying to grow.

One thing I will put out there, after removing the lid after pin set, I found a flipped tub placed over these in a tent seemed to be the sweet spot for me by keeping things more forgiving in terms of humidity and airflow management. I imagine this is a similar idea to faht's ziplocks.

We've had a pretty rough heat wave the past couple weeks with big humidity fluctuations from like teens to 70%+ rh and I was struggling to manage surface conditions and air exchange even with a tent. I experimented with removing the tubs on two of the trays as the fruits matured but ended up bruising some of the pins popping up mid flush. The tray that I didn't pull the tub did not have this issue so I think I'm gonna keep playing around with it.
