Nope, completely overlooked that, didn’t dawn on me they seal so well. Glad I posted up - so my noob mistakes can be spotted and I learn!

Does make sense now that it blossomed the two times I did a sniff test in front of the flow hood. Anaerobic could also explain why the other tray went sideways?

Problem corrected with a hot syringe needle on a fresh lid.

I prefer more air with pans rather than less (for colonization), that's for sure, and I still lost one to Cobweb.  Suffocating them will invite problems, sorry to hear about your loss.  I know for me, I learn more from hard lessons, but it still stings, gets easier the more you grow... to let them... or let it go. Good news tho', Pans are fast once you find something decent to fruit.  My current trays, 7 days, and that's with CV+, faster with manure-based subs.

The syringe needle for a poker works perfectly, it's what I use for bag grows.  All the best... of luck, keep at it, you got this!

Considering it’s my first time taking pans all the way to sub, if I get a single fruit it will be a huge win. All a learning process!

I just made four more trays yesterday that I had to adjust too.  😂

It was fantastic! Although when taking it I didn't think it was going to have anywhere near the effect it did, the potency was so much higher than any mushroom I had before or since!

I'm praying that when I have a go at cultivating my own Pan Cyan's soon I at least get enough for a few grams dried, if I happen to get even that I'd be a very happy man!

I think psilocybe cyanescens or azurescens are more potent than pans potentially and zapotecorum I believe might be the most potent of psilocin/psilocybin producing fungus

Think ochras and baeocystis might be similar of a trip to cubes though if it bruises green heavy I'd give it due respect.

Just cuz a fungi might not make u feel the greatest there's other benificial stuff happening behind the scenes forsure xd

Some of the harshest trips I've had been from ps fungi that bruised very green like though same time I got the most out of those ones too 🙏

I know pans can melt faces though they hold a special place for me too. They more like a light version for me very potent though less headspace and less retrospect thoughts from them. It's like I smoked a sativa lol still can get some shit done long as I don't do too much XD no super harshness /headache the day after like I've had from some of the more heavy psin/bin producing cubes

IDK man, 5g of Azures gave me a fun time. 5g of TTBVI was a terrible experience that I never want to repeat.

Pans has a special place in my heart for sure, I did 1,55g of Bisporus as my first meeting with pans, and it was amazing. Bispo is truly special.

Bisporus is more gentle and comforts you as you fall into space. TTBVI is agressive and cruel(which has it's place mind you) and Jambo is, hmm well Jambo fucked with my gut so can't be sure, but felt cold compared to Bispo.

Here's my trip rapport with Bispo's.


Great report! I really appreciate reading it, my own experience had some similarities, like how quick and the intensity of the onset, it took me by surprise and initially had me thinking "ohh shit ohh shit, I think I've made a mistake" my anxiety level was high, then I started some breathing exercises, laid back and kept telling myself "everything will be alright" over and over again, then the anxiety started calming down, I then closed my eyes and thought ok let's do this, just let go, just let go, then any worry and anxiety I had disappeared and a intense wave of relaxation rolled over me.
That was the point where I couldn't talk or move for a few hours, and it was like a "worm hole" of "kaleidoscopic" like shifting patterns of colours including one's that don't exist here on earth opened up, and that's when the trip really began! It was so beautifully bizarre that try as I might I've never been able too even close articulate it, I've tried writing it down and tried articulating it in my mind and I've never been able too serve justice to how it deserves to be explained!

Hopefully if I'm successful with my attempt to cultivate my own, I can hopefully experience it a few more times then be able to put it into words!🤞🤞
