Preparing jars for Copelandia?

I just got some horse poo compost and i dont remember how i prepared my jars  :confused: I do remember using verm and perlite and horse poo
I just dont remember the quantitys ...any help is appreciated (Road) :smirk:

Try the archieve section..just been reading the last 3 hours (among many other hours) on these to see if I could improve my shit. Just spawned a quart and a half to like 25 quarts a week ago...all of them dont look to be doing good. I found a number of things I did wrong though.

Preping jars for fruiting directly? Teonan I believe liked 2 parts compost, 1 part perlite, 1 part rye grass. I'd put some sort of grain in there..using about that ratio..but instead of 1 part straight perlite..probably 1/2 perlite and 1/2 verm. I dunno...not to much info for you...interested in any results this post gets though.

I just did about 2 parts hpoo, 1 part castings, and 1.5 parts verm..shook up with some WBS spawn (leftovers from the quart I started with)...it colonized fine. and is waiting to fruit right now..not sure how well it will perform.

Im looking for a grow log because Alounacara had great results from the first try ...he did take Teonans advice so he had success on his first try
I found the grow log but Alounacara evidently did to many of his copes

I still have a 1 syringe from a really dark print from that grow....I think the jars were a mix of horse poo,verm,perlite and a bit of prepared corn...wheres Teonan when you need him the most :confused:

There is alot of Teonans advice in the archeives..although Al's posts were deleted. Teonans old name is deleted too, so he's the one who shows up as "Anonymus" (sp?)...I see Al posted on a number of the threads there that were good so he probably saw them before, perhaps taking a look over them again may help you out...Teonan is usually in advanced though...I saw him just like a week ago or so though in Basic posting a few posts..

That third one is the link i was trying to find...damn the copes that Teonan and Alounacara grew must have been good or they wouldnt be anonoymous...shit gets wierd sometimes :tongue2:

Teonan is the man!

I disagree with the non-misting to a point (you just need to do it right IMO).

Yeah misting has to be kinda exact...Copes have to have dry caps and a moist base for shure.

It may say it in the log. not sure though. It was probably at most .5 oz dry. I think less. It was so long ago... They were absolutely tiny when they dried. A friend split about 5g. in tea with three other people, and said it was the most intense trip they ever had. Almost lost themselves...

Ah, ok, thats not too bad...I just couldnt tell scale from the pics and wasnt sure if it was down more like at 2-4 grams :smile: I'll be happy as all hell if I can manage to yeild 1/3 of the weight/substrate compared to cubies.

Mine werent that small but they were the Champagne of shrooms...
