it's pretty damn simple and easy to let them cool down in the pot, then no dirty air gets sucked in.

I have been PCing my jars lately and once done moving them to an oven rack, where I open the PC and move them directly into my glove box, where I let them site for a while. I haven't had any trouble with contams so far, and I even have a strip of hepa filter on the top of my glove box, about the diameter of a 12oz soda can. Works for me.

All this seems unneccissary as to preventing contams... Put the rubber side of the jar down and not up. The holes in the lid are sufficient to exchange air during incubation. I used tin foil while boiling to cover the holes. After cooling to the touch I innoculated and did not recover the holes. I placed all the jars back into the box they came in. Closed the cover and waited patiently. I have 100% no contams..... All 12 jars are ready for the incubator....
