I don't think I can grow it yet because it's a woodlover so I'm cleaning the culture for preservation

You might be surprised...

Wood is easy enough to sterilize and those fruit in warm temps.

It obviously likes you and that is the most important thing to getting fruits from any culture. At that point conditions and substrates are less important.

Inoculated some corn with some agar that had some nice rizo growth (: my only real clean aggressive plate I have lol

I tried to get the best pics I could to show this when I take a pic with the top off it’s hard to see it blends in with the agar in the flash but how does it look? It looked pretty clean and strong to me so I dropped some in two jars and gonna wait on the other two for a bit to see if I can get a transfer from another plate

I was under the impression all these wood loving species need colder weather ....

Can I run some of them the same way im doing cubes? I have a few varieties but I was going to clean them up and store them until later this year

I do have some wood pellets I can make a fake little knock-off grain jar with. Im not sure how much wood pellets (I'm assuming they don't have as much nutrition as grains, maybe not anybat all?) to grain I should use or how any of the saprotrophic mushy stuff goes down.

I suppose I could do some reading and learning....

I don't know why I thought those grow in the summer... Sorry. I was wrong. In fact they are commonly known as "winter teacher" and they grow in Dec and Jan in the great lakes region and just south of there, so they do grow in a real winter even.

I'm sure you probably already knew that.

Psilocybe Caruleorhiza

Turns blue real easy, also super ropey. I'm gonna make up s few plates just for pics lol

I'll use different stars to compare and see if we can get some cool shots

Once I get to my new winter home I'll grow some out

I’m sure I have mycelium in my plates but since they look a bit funny would putting them through cabin sequestering help me get clean mycelium? Any tips since I have a bunch poured and really don’t want to lose all these cultures
