The new section zapotecorum from NSW Australia reminds me more of ingeli than subtropicalis. I have isolated a few phenotypes and most look like this.

These popos are filling in fairly well. Same speed as the La Martinique, but less finicky. Have some Texolo on agar now, so hoping they'll be much faster. Has been pretty chilly inside though, TBH.

Texolo aren’t fast brother. Haven’t grown all of them but Texolo are slowest. But them are huge

Damn - someone told me they were way faster. I guess it's worth it though... I have really enjoyed taking zaps so far.

😁 I cased them begging of November last year and harvested mid of March recently. But those fruits like a foot long worth it. Fastest one so far is Popokatepetl, but totally different tho

this one is something around 1.5 months since casing

Ok- have to chop these today or tomorrow because the mold on the side is getting pretty rowdy. Texolo on grain though plus a La Martinique clone, so pretty excited for next rounds.

hey🤝 thanks so much. Yes, I am aware of removal limitation but there are something like 36 mb in total and one good photo is 10mb, I probably should find easy way to compress them lol

😁 can’t marinate them no more, them are already too old. maybe tomorrow will find some caps with spores but looks like not this time. Zapotecorum Tapala

T1 plate of Zapotecorum "Texolo".

My germination plate had a lot of bacterial contam, but I transferred a couple bits running away from it. I haven't seen zap myc before, though, does this look okay? Any recommendations on transfers?

Do you assume bacterial due to colour other than white?

this is first germination from spores, different colonies
