Even if an RC is a prodrug of LSD, the change in metabolism can affect the experience.

Consider the dose response curve of lemon tek vs psilocybin.  A pro drug is going to take longer to reach peak blood plasma and the curve is going to look more like a hill than a steep mountain.

There's a recent patent for a modified LSD.  It's not even a prodrug, but a mirrored molecule.  This changes the metabolism substantially.

Anyway, my point is RCs aren't LSD.  Even if the body metabolizes them into LSD, there will be differences in how they're metabolized, and the end result will look different.

Like I said, an RC that is a pro drug of LSD is going to have different effects than regular LSD.

I don't think a pharmacologist would argue differently.

We see the same thing in psilocin vs psilocybin.  Lemon tek changes the dose response curve substantially.  Which has significant down stream effects on acute tolerance and subjective intensity of the experience.

I guess what I'm saying is that this is a different conversation than needlepoint vs white fluff, etc.

How do you know it's impurities causing nausea? Nausea is a known effect of LSD, even Hoffman's first deliberate dose caused nausea and bodyload.

Do you think you might be searching for a reason for the nausea and deciding it's because of impurities, but didn't realise that's a known effect of LSD?

Im not certain honestly I hardly ever feel nauseous from white fluff or needle point just a tense feeling like when im stressed out. But with the impure stuff I vomited sometimes.

I been told I got fluff told I got needle point from someone else but its hard to tell. The best was the needle point it was almost zero nausea just felt kinda wired amped up stressed feeling. It would come in waves like I would think about the future and feel nervous about the unknown.

I can't really say there was a difference between fluff and needlepoint I enjoyed both and they felt the same. Also I really can't tell a difference between 1P-LSD and LSD 1cP-LSD was a little bit weaker and 1A-LSD felt a little more like AL-LAD.

I just noticed that the visuals were stronger on 1V-LSD 300 ug had me tripping as hard as 400 ug of LSD at about 5 hours into it. It may have been 45 minutes slower onset but I thought it was great stuff. I avoid it though I was using a bunch of RC chemicals and was doing stuff like misplacing my things forgetting to shower and brush my teeth.It was like I had alzheimer's luckily it got better I was just kinda burnt out from using every week.

I had 'bad acid' once.

I use quotes because I didn't test it, I don't know what it was.

And it could have been diet related you know, maybe I was deprived of electrolytes.

The worst cramping I've ever felt.  The little muscles that moved my eyes even cramped up.

And I also knew a raver kid that would cramp up every time he would drop, and other people would take the same stuff and be fine.  I don't know why he kept doing it, but he did.

Anyway, biological stress and excitement of a drug combined with poor young adult diet.  Not to mention placebo, bias, priming, thinking I'm taking 'good' or 'bad' acid; side effects can vary.

Captaintrips, remember when you were throwing up recently from smoking DMT? You were also drinking pretty heavily at the time if you don’t mind me saying… alcohol wrecks your stomach, and when you ingest psychedelics when your stomach is in a bad way you will get much worse nausea, and potentially even throw up.

I know this is true for myself. The worst nausea on LSD I’ve ever had is when I took a big dose after days and weeks of binging on alcohol.

When my stomach is in good health I only ever get very mild nausea at the most.

Try having a trip after a couple of weeks of the alcohol, eat good healthy foods in the meantime and let your stomach repair itself. See what the acid or DMT does then.

I have had annoying stomache nausea on the later tails of some trips as well as muscle cramps here and there, while other trips with the same dose were pure bliss.

All from the same sheet/batch.

But did you test the two different batches of 1cp-lsd? I admit i got some 1cp microdots that were fire and then blotters that seemed weak, but it wasn't impure, just underdosed.

I don't think if you don't know which you taking that you will get stomach problems. You should try this if you still have samples of both get someone else to administer them and see if you can pick out the "impure" one.

In my experience stomach issues are never batch related. You can give yourself any side effect by thinking about it though.

serotonergic nausea is different from sugar caffeine red bull stomach ache

sero is more uneasy pre exam anxiety, caffeine/sugar is more just sick/achy

yea i try to add some wings to the lsd, it usually works. but it can also add nausea, not just red bull nausea (caffeine + sugar), actually the serotonergic LSD nausea increases . hard to explain to someone without a sensitive stomach

caffeine can increase some of the fx a little, innit?

Ok guys, reading an article of Nichols, with a pic of him laughing, i finally had an epiphany why he claims all LSD is the same - he was simply unable to explain the obvious differences between crystals, and even more so unable to reproduce some of them, so he just decided to usurp the whole discourse, radically oversimplifying things, ruling out iso as the only possible contributing factor and calling it science.

Just thoughts...
