You don’t need gloves, you don’t need a mask, you don’t need iso.

Gravity, care, and fire does all the work for you. That’s what you’re working with, even if you don’t realize it. Everything else is a security blanket for your peace of mind.

I just ran into my old roommate from 25 years ago when we were in the Air Force.

Crazy thing is I was literally thinking about him a few days ago because I was meeting a client up around where he lives. Today he was in a grocery store where I live an hour away from him.

My wife has been reading books about manifestations recently. She’s been manifesting money. Last week we got a $300 reimbursement for medical overpayments, today we got a $400 tax rebate and then run into my buddy!

There might be something to the manifesting thing

Coincidence and blind luck are not manifesting.  We think about plenty of things that do not happen, our minds will just hold on to the rare times it coincides and want it to have significance beyond luck or coincidence.  Those occurrences are cool enough on their own without being "manifested." :mushroom2:

I confess I'm not very enthusiastic about what I have to do today. My wife loves Birds she's got a bunch of them a sun conure some lovebirds. She wants  an African grey. And we've got like 10 parakeets.

We noticed about 3 weeks ago  one of parakeets nails got ripped off. Possibly stuck in her.  causing an infection. We pulled her out and cleaned her up put some Neosporin on her. Seem to get better.

Then I noticed she started picking at her leg  down by her foot where she lost nail.  Fast forward to now she hasn't stopped picking at it it's gotten really bad you can almost see the bone in one spot.

Talked to a vet two weeks ago and found out they wanted  a 130 to see the bird. And another $200 to put it to sleep.

This bird cost $30.

Started researching ways I could humanely do it myself and came across CO2 gas chambers. reptile owners use them to humanely put feeder rats and mice to sleep.

She told me today the bird is not doing well at all. Keeps staying down in the bottom of its cage curled up in a corner. I went in there and put a little soft pillowing Nest on a Shelf and place the bird in it. Now it's just chilling but you can tell it's probably going to die before tomorrow morning.

Now I'm in the process turning a little Tupperware container into a CO2 chamber.

This is the right thing to do for the bird. I don't want it to suffer. As much as a bird can at least.

Still sucks tho. Im about to kill a bird yall.

I'm sorry to hear that hip.

We just made the appointment to put one of my dogs down on Saturday. She's 14, and can barely walk. It's going to be really hard on all of us, but especially on my other younger dog. He gets such separation anxiety, So I'm not sure how he's going to take it

Sorry to hear that, Hippie. You're doing the right thing even though it's difficult.

Sorry to hear that, Puff. Pets are like family members. We try to give them as much love as we can during the short time they are here.

We just had to put our cat down this past week, he hadn't been well and after three vet trips and surgery and different meds he just wasn't improving and it was his time.
