And that is the reason I love my 12 quart Mega Chief cooker. Like the vast majority of Americans 12.5 PSI is more than I need at my elevation. Set it and forget it.

Seriously don't worry about spooning if you need to. Once the jar is fully colonized you could run the mycelium through a blender and it would still colonize your sub.

I confess, I let my rye soak for 15 hours longer than it should have, went to boil it, and it made the kitchen and dining room smell like vomit :facepalm::evilpuke: hate to waste the grains, but I threw them in the compost pile. Compost is looking good though:smile:

When times where nearing the semester and I had a contaminated tub I put it in the oven to kill all the mold before I open it so my apartment wont get bricked with mold spores. Well lazy me just left the tub with the lid open on the same table as my pink oyster mushroom bag which I believed had fruited for the last time. Well fast forward to now when I got home from the semester to see that the table have changed color to white from spores. Turns out that the oyster mushroom fruited one more time, and while doing so, some spores managed to get into the tub and colonize the coir over where there was mold. It is now trying to fruit. Quite cool :cool:

But what not may be very cool is that after walking around in this spore-filled apartment coughing my lungs out for the past days, I realized that maybe the tub is not the only place it wants to colonize, but also my lungs. My lazy ass should have cleaned the table earlier :P

Can’t seem to find the time to enjoy my fruits.

Getting off work at 5 and going to bed at 10 is bad for my mental 😂 some of you may say just send it but I cannot sleep after a trip not for a while.

the past few months I've only popped in to check the thread.. I haven't checked growery out since before it got shutdown a long ass time ago...

I quit growing mushrooms and started growing bud, but I confess I did drop some wedges for the first time in like 2yrs
