i have never taken a favorable attitude of dems over republicans, or vice versa, so you are barking up the wrong tree.

they can both be terrible, horrible, dystopian options. and they are. either live with that fact or keep lying to yourself like the rest of the population. but picking the lesser of two evils doesn't make you smart, it makes you average. and it makes you a cuck.

Just seems like your anger is directed at the other side instead of the one that’s causing all of the chaos.

Why would you be mad at the people trying to help? Versus the people that are literally destroying help and taking it away from people?

I’m not the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is the one that runs against the Republicans.

You did say that the economy was terrible before Donald Trump took over despite it being the best one in the world. I can bring up the quote if you want. No need to start calling people names.

Considering the economy was destroyed by the party in charge. I’m gonna just direct my anger towards them because they’re the ones that continually fuck up.

I’m not going to throw shade at the people that have been trying to prevent what’s happening right now. That would be directly feeding into the narrative that’s been fed to the republican base.

this kind of mindless cynicism and apathy is exactly how trump and company came to power.  the edge-lord "both sides" shit is so brain-dead. 

I often think about the fact that trump has gained power twice off less than 1/3 of the available voters in the USA.  then I think about a talk from an old german who recounted that for hitler to gain power took just 1/3 of germans, while 1/3 opposed him vehemently and 1/3 sat around complacent and apathetic.

in the face of a fascist regime, picking no side is picking the wrong side.

If the Dems ran candidates that their voters actually wanted, trump wouldve never had a chance. Not to put the blame squarely on the democratic party, because you're right they didn't vote for trump. But their toothlessness helps lay the foundation for guys like trump. If you see a guy like trump who is so far right winning his candidacy for nominee, you don't go with some middle ground milktoast candidate. And they keep trying to stuff that down our throats when it's obviously not working.

Ok but you understand that in the Germany scenario, it’s the SPD and the liberals that were the apathetic bunch?

The 1/3rd that opposed fascism vehemently were the socialists and communists, and the liberals had their leaders killed. Then, with the left kneecapped to protect capital, Hitler’s rise continued unabated by (and often times with the assistance of) the other 1/3rd.

I may have failed to make my point effectively.  I was trying to emphasize the fact that historically, there is a 1/3 fraction of voters in democratic societies whose indifference and apathy is literally the deciding factor in their govt falling to fascism and/or authoritarianism.  so these "both sides" personalities that talk down to people when in fact its their dumb asses that are largely to blame. 

trump has a 90 day decision about his made up border crisis and invoking the insurrection act coming up on 4/20, and there is another national protest planned for 4/19.  you all know trumps ego can't handle protest, and shit is unraveling fast for him on a few fronts.  already hearing that grocery stores are seeing a sharp uptick in traffic that can really only be explained by panic shopping.
