Something I've been playing around with lately to determine easier if spawn is, in fact, an issue.

"Bottom spawning" -leaving all of the grain on the bottom and the substrate on top.

A clear indication the contamination started from the grain. I've since moved away from feed corn as it was a large portion of my problem. Switching back to WBS lately and my contamination rate is back down to 0% so far. To be clear, my spawn looked fantastic to me 100% of the time when spawning to bulk.

Been waiting for HBP fruits, but I think the ones I've been working with were a cross, maybe with PE? Would explain the extra blobiness.

Interesting pheno, will be interesting to see how big those caps get.

Same set of jars different tub. I've never had these split open towards the top like this. Any clues?
