You're supposed to control your life. Not the president. A grown adult is supposed to control their life regardless of what superior policies one president tries to push on Congress versus another.

It's always the same shit one person promises they are going to lower the taxes and the other candidate is going to raise them. The other candidate promises they are going to lower the taxes while the other candidate will raise them.

I honestly don't like either of them. Fuck them both. I hope this whole thing's over soon.

Half a block from where I live is a street corner with a four-way light. This is very common on street corners that don't have a four-way stop sign or even a two-way stop sign and the opposing Lane is a continue to go through Lane generally is a four-way stop light. For the last few days there have been people standing on one side of the street with MAGA signs and on the other side of the street are support Kamala Harris signs. Throughout the day in a good portion of the night you hear people honking their horns as they drive by. The fascinating thing to me is I don't even know which side they're honking for. I take it the lane going in the northern direction is honking for Trump and the lane going in the southern direction is honking for Harris.

Personally I would just shoot them all and not give a crap. I think they're all stupid idiot morons. The rise to power to become a president is one of extreme corruption and financial dominance over everyone else. Most voters don't have a goddamn clue they're voting for and don't think that the local government makes any difference in their life. They all make me pretty sick.

I take refuge in the fact that no matter which one of these stupid pieces of crap actually wins over ourDemocracy of a Nation that this stupid garbage and all the riots that come with this crap is all over very soon and life goes on.

Whether the interest rates will go up or down often has the smallest bit to do with the president. The executive branch is itself one branch of power. Interest rates and taxes and things in all sorts of things are controlled by many many many more people than just the POTUS.

I believe I control my own life. I believe my contribution to myself and to my neighborhood and to the very fabric of my society is controlled by my attitude and my determination. I believe whether I choose to be an attorney or an engineer or an architect or a marine biologist or even a dishwasher in a kitchen is my decision and not someone else's. I believe I am in control of my life and not political obsession.

The most important statement is: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Otherwise fuck all these people.

Justice is supposed to be in the hands of the people, justice is supposed to be about life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I think slavery was abolished in 1865 if I am correct? I see no reason to vote in a new master.

That's about all I have to say about that.

    Trump nutters stand on some of the freeway overpasses in the Bay Area and as I drive by I stick my middle finger out of the sunroof . Sometimes people  behind me do the same , they know who I'm voting for .

So Kamala Harris has been campaigning as a normal politician. And a litigator.

Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies and has been working at McDonald’s and picking up garbage.

It sounds like he’s getting ready for the position he’s going to have after this elections all over.

Homie was talking about "I am in control of my reality".

That's what you call an internal locus of control.

An external locus of control would be like faith in god, for example.

You think the factors that determine your reality are predominantly outside of your control.

The plague of locusts is a reference to the story of Moses.

So essentially you take control of your own sense of reality, or allow yourself to be consumed by forces that overshadow you.
