Bacterial spawn, the resulting fruit showed sufficient evidence for me to confirm it even though I suspected it to start with.

Looks awesome af like an optical illusion almost I've been meaning to ask are aborts stronger than matures? I've expierenced pins being stronger but that may be much different

The current zeitgeist on Shroomery seems to believe aborts/pins are stronger than full grown by psilocybin content volume. The question is, even if they  are more powerful... if you harvest them while pins, would you get more good trips out of it than if you let them grow to full size?

Question, does third or fourth flushes count as mediocre grows? Because by the third flush my fruits always start getting sparse.

This is strictly my own personal experience, but when I got some PE aborts a few years back, just .75g shocked me... crazy OEV for longer than expected. Fast forward to me giving my friends the same dosage at a Ween show... everyone was floored. They did not believe me when I said it wasn't even a whole gram. YMMV.

I can't imagine a pin that would be a fraction the size of a fruit would be potent enough to compensate for the lack of weight, otherwise we'd be harvesting pins and getting many more flushes due to the conservation of nutrients. That would be pretty slick though, eh?

Imo, later flushes shouldn't count. A mediocre grow, in my mind, should be an example of mediocre genetics. I really like this thread bc we're constantly seeing these tubs packed to the fuggin brim with beautiful, explosive 1st flushes, but without the background info. TCs and other seasoned vets are out here growing out genetics they've been working on for many moons, and I dont think that's always taken into consideration, especially by newcomers. I posted that pic of a B+ tub full of 1" fruits and some implied they didn't think it was all that mediocre. May have been the pic, may have been perspective as a newer grower - idk. It was pitiful and a PITA to harvest, but if I had absolutely nothing, I'd have considered it a win of some degree at least. That's where it's somewhat subjective though.

more and more clear mediocre is in the eye of the beholder lol. I think it's really about a poster's feelings about it - if they had high hopes and the result left something to be desired, instead of living privately with that bitterness, post a pic here. if the next person would've been happy with that grow, well, lucky them hehe
