16 ziplocs, 4 shoeboxes all a mix of cubes and nat cultures, and 2 trays of TTBVI colonising. Some Weza to grain soon and exotics paps, zap and subtrop on agar but little while until they will be on grain.

I don't have a lot of space for fruiting at the moment, it's cold and heating my shitty old house is way to expensive.

I'm stuffing ziplocs where ever it is warm enough, I love small batch teks :rockon:

I thought pushing such a cheap PC higher would be sketchy as hell, I have and I know others put a coin or something on the presto rocker to push an extra PSI or 2 out of it, but that's a lot more tame.

I worry about vice, I liked exploits like chicken carcass for spawn but I've seen some concerning shit lately.

Please stay safe vice, no shame in therapy or something if you're having a bad time, I've done it and it was beneficial :shrug:

I confess I’m an absolute die hard lighting advocate and it is a hill I will die on.

Once I return from vacation I plan on doing 9 shoeboxes of the same culture, but there’s always so many tests I want to run and they get put off so I confess it might not happen soon. But cmon, 3 shoeboxes blacked out with spray paint, 3 getting bright 12:12 light from a fluorescent 6500k 4ft, and 3 that get 12:12 of dim light (β€œenough light to read a book/fine print”). But idk how to necessarily go about making a dim shoebox unless I could get away with maybe a light coat of spray paint. Maybe some paper glued to it or something.

Sometimes I do some lines of Ket during SAB work.
I get wonky af and what is, normally, 1h of transfers turns in to 3h - with some kitchen dancing in the middle - but the slow-motion SAB movements come out more naturally. :lol:

Highly recommend, Very enjoy ketamine therapy and cult.  For me it slows down the anxiety and makes things a lil easier, but I'm on a 60mg sublingual dose so it's very mild.

Wish I could get some legit therapies started, never knew what to think of K but tried some at beyond wonderland a bit ago, completely changed my perspective about it. I don’t think I’ll ever pursue larger doses but damn, 2-3 bumps and I’m feeling like a silly guy :rofl:

I confess I have the pure instinctual urge to shit on anything I deem woowoo, while also having first hand experienced an abundance of shit that people would consider β€œwoowoo”. I think it’s easier to blend in in the collective ignorance than to be one of the ones that sticks out and feel judged

And to bring it back on topic

I confess I made clone plates while harvesting today with multiple fans running and without letting anything in my SAB settle in the slightest, but I feel in my taint that everything is going to be okay, so I feel content and not scared

Been a while since I messed with K. Used to evaporate it out of the iv bags back in the 90's. Sure as shit ain't doing no kinda work on it tho.

In other news, I confess I'm way too excited about mycelium breaking surface on my F4 TW x Shakti tubs, and seeing my TTBVI colonising their trays with such haste.

I'm like a kid on Christmas.

I purchased a swab of the cross from a New Zealander who has been working on it for a while, below is one of his photos.

As I say the mycelium is starting to break through the pseudo-casing layer on my little tubs as of today.



I'll be offering swabs (or prints, but I'm assuming this won't print well) if it performs :rockon:

I confess I forgot about wedges, and it surprised me that they make it all the way from New Zealand to the USA perfectly fine.

Everyone who I sent a nat wedge to has received it, and I know that the first recipient has a plate ready to drop or has dropped it by now.

I dropped all my plates of this cross into grain, I think, it's hard to keep track, but I'll be taking clone/s of the best fruit, and I could make an extra plate easy peasy for a giveaway :dancer:

I confess. After working in a SAB for over a year.
Working in front of my flow hood feels like I’m driving without a seatbelt or something.
The freedom of movement and lack of things trying to fall over has me feeling like there’s too much freedom. I must be doing something wrong.

I just started cultivating for the first time in my life (despite browsing as an interested party for over twenty years) so I don't have a massive realm of things to confess yet but two embarrassing things did occur and like you posted here this is exactly what I did when inoculating my jars.

Sooo.. I Confess:

I actually stabbed myself SO hard with such force that I actually compressed the plunger too, hand to god, and for like a whole day I was super paranoid I had injected myself with spores because I had got spore liquid from the syringe all in my cut and it pooled inside my glove too along with the blood.

Oh god it was so bad I didn't want to stop the Tek so I compounded the problem by taking micropore tape and trying to wrap it around the bleeding finger on the outside of the glove but instead of that happening the micropore tape got stuck to everything, ripping at both my gloves (blood spattering on jars and on the wall of my SAB) and then I had to dash mid Tek to the bathroom to clean my hand and apply a bandage.

Then I calmly returned and finished the Tek sure I had poisoned everything. But I just opened the first part of what I had inoculated from that day and only one was contaminated so I was pretty stoked there.

Second confession:

When I was opening the first part of my inoculated jars and bags, everything looked so nice that I didn't expect the third bag to be so full with contamination. So everyone has been telling me to do a sniff test on each bag on top of visual inspection in order to see if anything smells sour or sickly sweet. And that's what I did - opened the bag with my face and nostrils waaaay too close to the bag while I opened it. A huge almost literal puff of trichoderma contam coughed into the air giving me a huge whiff and also the causing me to drop the bag in shock which proceeded to spill it all over my chair and floor.

At this point I'm freaking out as if I just spilled actual uranium nuclear waste in the middle of my grow room. So I'm grabbing wildly at my 70% isopropyl alcohol, my 5% bleach spray, my hydrogen peroxide and I just start pouring shit over the entire floor without any regard for amounts or even if mixing these chemicals would cause an explosion or some shit who knows my anxiety is so out of control at this point. 🫣

I'm on my hands and knees scrubbing at the floor panicked like a weirdo. I forgot the fact I had a whole monotub to finish filling with my grain spawn and CVG mix so it's just sitting in the open air in a room that has been toxified by the trich. Who knows if ill make it through harvest now, but so far it's all still good haha.
