you need to go to the mushroom boards. this is political discussion. the furthest you can get from growing mushrooms:lol:

the off topic areas of the site are populated by non mushroom people and mushroom people alike but mostly the loudest voices here are not growing shrooms.

That kind of black and white thinking is what gets people locked up for years for drug possession.  Do we really want to spend the money, time, and reputational currency prosecuting an old man for a victimless crime like this?

Every day across the nation, prosecutors decline to prosecute old people for victimless crimes.  Why should Trump not get the same consideration?

i dont believe that allowing criminals to commit crimes, or injustices is going to help the community. i dont think that with regards to you...all the way up to trump and biden.

i think he deserves the right to discuss and debate his position, thats the nature of our legal system, but if in fact he has gone out of his way to damage the people of this country, he should pay the penalty for doing so.

and the people with the highest ammount of power should be held to the highest standard. when in fact we tend to see the opposite. someone gets arrested for failure to ID to a cop with an ego... the person spends the day in jail, guilty of no crime (as failure to ID is not a primary offense and enforcing it without an offense is a violation of the 4th and somewhat the 1st amendment as freedom of expression is also a freedom of non-expression)... the cop gets a week off with pay... the person guilty of nothing but beinng a lower class of citizen loses their freedom for a while. albeit a short while.

trump gives away government secrets... talks about it... gets caught on tape....requests cojoles and threatens about undermining an election gets caught on tape doing so... commits campaign finance fraud gets caught doing so....commits tax fraud...gets caught doing so... commits crimes while posing as a non-profit...gets caught doing so...koods says, seems like he is actually getting his comuppance...

enlil says... thats a shame.

whats to be ashamed of? its a shame that we voted in a person like that. its a shame that we only voted him in because wyoming votes count more than california votes.... even tho he is just as much the president of californians as he is the president of wyoming-ians(?)....

its a shame that anyone would think its a shame to take out a corrupt and immoral (from a legal perspective) leader who has spit in the face of what the laws of limitations allow.

because when its a homeless guy smoking crack in an alley... everyone is chanting lock him up... but when its a rich guy, defrauding people... a great number of other rich guys seem to want to chant... he is one of us. and thats a real shame.

I have never heard of anyone chanting "lock him up" in reference to a homeless crackhead.  I think you made that up.  I realize that Americans in general are prone to want other people locked up, but that doesn't make it right.
