And stumbled upon some more on a walk this evening. I checked this area numerous times last year with no luck, decided to swing by today and sure enough it is producing.

Found three places with Psilocybe mushrooms today! Stoked to have found some patches in Eugene. This one was all alone.


Hoping to see more show up but time will tell.


Also found two other patches pinning, can’t wait to check them out in a week.

Today was a great day - over 70 Azurescens! Visited a patch I found yesterday, which you can see in my last post, and discovered there was a lot more of them hiding under the grass. Picked 50 in this patch yesterday and another 50 today. Found a couple more patches nearby but they each only had a couple solitary ones. This patch was the typical dune grass type

Then I visited another patch, which you can see in my second to last post, and found another 23. This patch was a mixture of grass and wood chips; some of these are a lot larger than the ones found in the dune grass and a little different in appearance

Azzies growing up through some bamboo. Are fruiting from woodchips underneath. I just pile bamboo on the patch in the summer for the shade.

Sorry about some of the pic quality but it was some of the wettest and rainiest hunting I have ever done. Kept trying to wipe off the lens in the humidity and pouring rain, but it was worth it ... :whoo:

Wild growing cyanescens I found while out chant hunting, whatcom County.

Sadly, time moves on, and so have I. I'm no longer in that area, so no, I haven't found that species for quite a long while. But..... still got spores and LC going, damn near 10 years later. Pm me. I'm over hiding spots
