I was wayyyyy more careful and sterile with inoculating this bag of Uncle Ben's than I am normally. I figure it has such a high fail rate that I'd be overly cautious. I used a flame sterilized scalpel to open it in my SAB, picked a select vigorous culture and put it in there. I'm honestly hoping that it works, because well, mushrooms, but I'm also gonna be pissed if it does lol.

Thanks! It is a little over two gallons, so the top was plenty big enough for my arm. However, it actually contaminated pretty bad in the back, so I destroyed the sub harvesting it.

Nice find IrishMule. I was looking for something like that last week. Fingers crossed for a good flush for ya.

This was supposed to be a novelty GT but I mixed up spawn jars with my PE. However, this chonk has me thinking I may keep using these jars for PE.

The stipe is still really solid so I am going to let him keep doing his thing for a while.

heres a different kind of novelty grow... its been sitting in my journal for 5.5 years. Had a bunch of extra spawn sitting around so I did a 5:1 PE shoebox. It had some rather unpredictable results. Namely it hit 100% in ยฑ24 hours. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21342204
