Morels are the modern day gold of the Yukon. There is a fortune to be made picking morels way up north where where forest fires burned in the last year. It's dirty work but the money is clean!

We didn't have a fire last year. We did have half of the bwca downed and we have more snow for a spring melt than the last three years... I hope for a good year, we only get acid soil from evergreens (and rain), though, so we'll see.

Help... I'm typing and I can't shut-up!
