Well Five responses in one reply:Gunner:
Maine has aaaPanaeolus papiulionaceus which is used annualy by a group of Maine lobster fishermen for many decades.
Panaeolus subbalteatus and Psilocybe caerulipes can be found in Maine.
There is also a possiblility that Psilocybe pelliculosa and/or Psilocybe silvatica may also be in Maine . All in the fall except the Paneolus subbalteatus. Check my article at erowid.org titled "Close Encounters of the Paneolus Kind." it gives diescriptions for collecting this species in Oregon and Washing and Hawaii.

Well Mass is the same as Maine except Psilocybe caerulipes has been reported from there.
I have also talked to some students from Cambriudge who said that they found liberty caps in Mass. I find no recorded record of that species there buit it could be.

For STARTSHOOTER,
Amanita muscaria, Amanita pantherina and Cymnopilus aeroginosa all grow in Pennsylvainia.
Good Luck.

Andfor STARTSHOOTER,
Penns has three listings. Amanita muscaria, Amanita pantherina and Gymnopilus aeruginascens. Possibly Psilocybe caerulipes since it has been reported as far north as Maine and Mass.
