Re: The "Midnight Mycology" Thread. [Re: eLeSDenes]

So at 4 AM "yesterday", while cleaning off some third flush GT's that were harvest young due to green monsters showing up in that one, I found a little white one poking out of one of the clusters. Looks just like the others, just with a strong case of leucism. I don't have any other leucistic varieties running right now so am I to take it as a true leucistic GT? If so it's the first I've seen after running this line for many years...

I put the little babe in a baggie as I was way too tired to set up in front of the filter so I'll attempt to clone it tonight along with some monster burmese mamma jamma's.

What is the recommended course of action to chase after the leucistic genes? Clone-grow-print then germ-xfer-grow-clone-grow-print and repeat? This line of GT is really nice and it would be awesome to see a fork like that happen...:mushroom2:

Yes that process souns about right. I've had the same thing happen with Cambodians. Got a print from Apc, grew it out and there were some leucistic ones. Cloned them and grew a bunch of lucy cambodians. Printed those and now generation 2 (ms) is just popping up. All leucistic ones untill now  Ima clone again. Grow out, take spores and on to F3

Nothing like the sound of 2 AAs rattling away in the am...this is what I decided to do to help heat up the house. 57 jar run this time. 4 burners going. Heating up the house nice.

Literally an entire year later and I am finally waiting to have one of these bayou SQ4 grills delivered.  Excited to have a toy to play around with and run a pressure cooker outside while I chill and drink.  I have a big idea with this thing.

Did you put that grate over the front of your filter or did it come that way? I've been thinking about doing it myself when I get my new filter but I have the kind that looks like thisand I'm not sure if that grate would fuck with the flow. any thoughts would be well appreciated.

Running a shit ton of edibles on birdseed (all thats available here now). Running each of my cookers twice a day. I figure people will need some good healthy immune enhancing belly filler by the time they start coming in. I've got everything I need here at home so why not... 25 minutes to go on today's final cook.

Love you all. Stay safe in this crazy world.

Well fuck, can't sleep. Mini fridge full of fresh agar plates. Time to join the midnight mycology club! Transferring some cultures that were born of spores scraped from the caps of 'dealer shrooms'.
If I can't sleep after that, maybe time to bio-essay?
