Im interested in the mycology aspect...and was wondering if anyone knows of any colleges that offer mycology as a major in the U.S

See thats the thing I have only a GED...I might be limited to the colleges that will accept me...I did the google search and it was useless...I did hear about PSU...The only prob I see is that they wont accept GED students...Well its worth a try...Ya know

Go to a community college and get a tranfer degree. That would be your best route.

I actually read an article somewhere recently that said businesses and colleges were putting more weight on a GED then on a diploma. Lots of schools pass kids just to get rid of them and move them on out of the system. With a GED, they at least know you have passed a real test. That says something.

From my understanding, Paul Stamets, uuuhhhhhhhhh i can't find the words. He has some sort of SIMINARS, that's the word i was looking for. I believe that he has them in the upper west coast of America somewhere. That might be a good start for you. And then you could get more info from him on what you're looking for.
