Self Contained Growing Gifts, humidity question.

Hi guys,

i was talking to some elves that hang around my neighbourhood, they say they are channeling MC Eschers poltergeist or something, anyway, they had this idea for presents for some friends of theirs, the hoobaloobs.

There idea is to line some half pint jars with tinfoil, fill them to just below the rim with colonized dung, wait for the dung to recover, and then case it with coco coir, or 5050 or something. Maybe even just straight verm for simplicity's sake.

Then, they'll stick them into small ziploc bread bags, and give them as presents. The elves were wondering if perhaps some sort of humidification would be needed to keep the environment nice and moist, like a fairies crotch, or morning dew, or some shit, I dunno, they talk in rhyme so its kinda hard to keep track of them sometimes. They were thinking of putting a little bit of perlite in there, but thought maybe the casings natural humidity would suffice?

The hoobaloobs aint known for their mycological experience in any case.

Also, the elves were wondering how many times a day should the hoobaloobs open the bags and do air exchange?
