Terrarium Humidity Question

My cat is planning on growing some EQ's pretty soon and was rather confused about one thing. Once the jars (1/2 pint in this case with plans to move on to using 1quart jars in the near future) are fully colonized/cased is it necessary to put them in an terrarium? I hear its not good to have a humidifier in the terrarium if you are casing? Any help would be gladly received. Here is what i was planning on using for my setup. (I am eventually planning on growing bulk so it needs to be expandable)
-Big Rubbermaid container
-Acquarium Bubbler (for gas exchange)
-Cased EQ's in those tin bread pan things
I can go out and buy a humidifier if it would be needed, but from what ive been reading the casing themselves are good enough for humidity and all thats needed is gas exchange (ie bubbler).

From what I understand, perlite with casings is more of a precaution from drying out than a nessecity. I am casing and am going the perlite way, but I have read several teks that say it is fine to cover them and leave them. There are SOOOO many different opinions on this board (teks and post) that your basically gonna have to listen to the majority of what people say. If I am wrong about any of this, anyone feel free to correct me.

P.S. Search the archive of posts and chances are, you can find an answer to almost anything.

You know what you should do and tell other people to do....EXPERIMENT! I'm pretty sure all teks are made from experimenting a VARIETY of ways and methods of cultivating. Your best bet would be if you considering a certain method, try using only one part of it for the method u want to test out. I hate it when people say they focus on one moethod and are so curious to see if another method would work, but just end up wasting time. Its really just a matter of trying a variety of things at once, youll be able to find out the best way for you quick! Good luck on your 'stuff'.
