humidity question help

ive built the grow box but have a problem. i bought a cool mist durcraf humidifier .i got a funnel just a little bit smaller over the out put on the humidifier. and put the water hose from the funnel to the inside of the box. but i dont seem to be getting the humidity i need inside box. do i need to let it run longer for it to build up. or can the funnel being a little bit smaller be the problem .aslo iv been haveing the humidifier runing for a couple hours now. has it not been runing long enough. its a four gallon humidifer . what can it be tips any one

My tip is that you should use punctuation more. It really helps to make writing easier to understand.

but seriously if i were you id scrap the humidfier and use perlite
i had a humidfier and it was just a pain
