HUMIDITY QUESTION, SOLID ADVISE PLEASE

I'm running a test run of my terrium, and the humidity level will not exceed 80%. (There are no rice cakes in it. I'm just testing it out. I am using the cool mist humidifer method.)

When i put my casings in, will the extra mass of the rice cakes raise the humidity? if not, what can i do to get the damn humidity at 95-100%., and still utilize the cool mist humidifer method?

Secondly, the temperature will not exceed 70 degrees in the terrium, when i put my casings in, will mass of it raise the temperature significantly? If not, how can i raise the temperature to about 80 degrees?

your humidity gague might suck. most cheap humidity gagues are not meant to read high levels of humiidity. If there is constantly medium amounts of condensation on the walls of your terrarium, then the humidity is probably 95+.

the temp shouldnt matter that much. what strain is being grown??

my humidifier does not produce condensation in the terrium. And i am growing the piertorican strain along with the treasure coast strain.
