Those parameters are taken directly from the book "The Mushroom Cultivator." The best book out there...

Go back and do as I said.
I repeat "Scroll down to where it says PARAMETERS FOR OPTIMAL GROWTH."
This is the info you've been asking for and I been telling you to search and read for yourself. I found it within minutes...

It's up to you to decide. You can take the averages of what everybody else says or do what "The Mushroom Cultivator" says. It's not a hard decision if you ask me.

cbull, im not getting into this flame war.... but you have said you have spent a lot of monies ( lol 3 hydro-pods, i believe you have spent a chunk) but still havent had a success. man dont try to frankenstien teks yet, that will come, pick a tek, follow it like the bible, succeed, pick another tek, etc etc etc.... get a few shrooms from cakes first, NOT i got x amount of jars about ready..i mean , get shrooms from em, eat em, have a damn good time, then move on. you cant be stamets in a day man, it takes time... im not saying this to be mean, i would love to see ya succeed.....dont worry about averages of this, or averages of that, pick a tek that has proven itself, and dont vary from it even a little bit.

what the heck, you have how many jars ready and you dont know what the heck you are doing. I dont mean to be crude, but I think most people spend a large chunck of time doing research before they start up the hobby. Pick a tek and stick to it, start out small first and then see where things take you. If you think you found a get rich quick scheme you have another thing coming.
good luck!

Ya cbull, I just did a search and found this:
"Ya...just cover it for 5 days...dont wait for it to fully colonize or anything. Dont use a casing layer either...they are a complete waste of time. After 5 days raise the temp to 106F. They grow much faster at temps above 105. "
See how easy searching is?

I dont know why everyone is bitching, this is where your supposed to come ask questions. Im sure Cbull reads, but alot of this shit is confusing only because there is so much to read and so much misinformation mixed in with fact.
And most everyone cant talk anyways cause even though I read, and spend 12 friggen hrs a day on here I always have the most mundane and simple questions.
I was about to post this same question only because for cased horse poo or cased coir the humidity levels might be different, the same goes for cakes versus casings, peat casing and horse dung Im sure differ alot. I know peat will dry out quicker then dung so I would assume you need to keep the humidity higher..or mist more
It sounds to me like cbull is gettng hung for asking a question, chill the fuck out its just a question....
