 Spore Growing / Duplicating? ... True Mycology Help Needed

Here's a few questions for those out there with experience in growing bacteria.... Question 1 - If I were to take one loop full of a Spore Syringe, and then inoculate that loop into a tube of Agar Broth or onto an Agar Plate, Could i incubate the tube or plate and then create a full plate of spores? If this works, can I then inoculate other Jars with the contents of the Tubes / Plates. Also, what is the best Agar to produce spores / shrooms on? ( If you can )
Question 2 - Can I grow mushrooms directly on agar, if so what type?
Question 3 - If I were to allow a mushroom to drop its spores directly onto an agar plate, could I then incubate that plate and produce an entire plate of spores?
My knowledge in spores is very limited right now, so i'm trying to expand my knowledge ..... THANKS

well if ur lookin for experienced bacteria growers i dont think ur in the wrong place, yes u can germinates spores onto agar, no this wont grow more spores, it will grow mycelium(but thats good), yes u can then innoc jars with ur agar by sterilizing a scapel and cuttin wedges out of the mycelium, mushrooms can be grown on agar, but trust me this is not what u r going for, really though u need to read, go to the home page and search for agar, and just basic info , read faq's

The way you make more syringes is to have spore prints and to have spore pprints you need mushrooms to take one.
Who the fuck gave this thread a 5 shrooom rating?

Taking spores and germinating them can very effectively multiply the amount of innoculating material.you own.
This is the protocol I followed:
1) Take spore print or have a syringe with spores
2) Smear spores with sterile swab or (>1cc) spore water onto Water agar. (This is to germinate the spores in a condition where it is difficult for bacteria to grow Water agar recipes are online)
3) Incubate for several days at 85 F if possible
4) Use sterile (Pressure cooked) tools to transfer mycelium to Potato dextrose agar. (Potato dextrose agar is extremely good for growing mycelium. You can find recipes online.)
5) Incubate until mycelial growth covers 2/3rds of the plate Scrape the mycelium to losen it from the medium.
6) Fill the petri dish with 10 mL sterile water.
7) Mix lightly and draw up with sterile syringe.
This syringe will be a highly potent growth innoculum. It will colonize almost twice as fast as normal spores in a syringe. One smear on the water agar can produce 6 dextrose plates easily. Another advantage is that a small amount of spores (1 cc) can be turned into a huge amount of innoculum (60 cc).
This procedure requires careful skill and sterile technique. Let a HEPA filter run in the room for an Hour. I take a shower, put on clean clothes, put on gear (booties, lab suit, face mask, bonnet) and all of my tools are PC'd. Do every bit you can to keep yourself and your area sterile.
Another way to hedge your bet is to make a lot. If you have 4 water agar plates and make 24 potato plates, even if you don't have a flow hood, you can get many plates to work just because you have so many. If I hadn't done this I never would have been able to succeed at this, because it can be very tricky..

That's good advice, thanks .... I have access to the Microbiology Lab at school where I was a Microbiology student. My teacher is also really nice about letting me do experiments. I have all of the equipment needed there and it's really clean, so i'll have to try your technique out sometime ...... I also know all of the proper procedures for making nice, non contaminated, plates. I'll definately have to try this sometime......
Any other suggestions??
