The last time The Ecstatic (who is generally a brilliant poster) said this, he pointed out how Jimmy Dore supported Operation Car Wash.  The problem is, Glenn Greenwald (who eventually exposed it for the scam it was) also supported it at the time.  Of course Jimmy switched his opinion once Glen Greenwald exposed it.

But ya, I can't wait for his next response about Jimmy either.  :popcorn:

Yeah, I get it, being intellectually honest isn't acceptable when it comes to Trump if someone is a liberal. I just haven't heard Dore make any uninformed statements. He even had that POS Cenk admit he was full of shit about Trump and the whole impeachment nonsense.

Basically, Buttar is calling out Pelosi for a few things: dragging her feet on impeachment, and then limiting the scope of impeachment as to not include financial crimes that may implicate herself and other top Dems/donors. But because Jimmy has the brilliant contrarian take of being against impeachment, he claims that Buttar is a Trump booster because Buttar is pro impeachment, and impeachment helps Trump.

Just monumental idiocy. And has the gall to say Buttar is “so fucking stupid politically.” Then of course he pivots to his favorite politician Tulsi Gabbard being against impeachment, because why wouldn’t he.

Thanks.  Did you miss qman's "must watch" video which included this?  It shows that impeachment clearly isn't hurting Trump, and Jimmy was probably correct to say that if you support impeachment, you are actually boosting Trump.

With that said, I TOTALLY agree with you (and therefore I totally DISAGREE with Jimmy on this) that Jimmy shouldn't have been so critical of Shahid Buttar, and Ron Placone did an ok job of defending him, but Jimmy wasn't incorrect to say that if you support impeachment you are boosting Trump.

It's a matter of opinion whether this is worth criticizing someone for or not.  Again, I AGREE with your opinion on this.

It’s a matter of opinion whether impeachment helps Trump, or rather doesn’t hurt him. If even one GOP Senator soft pedals on impeachment it hurts Trump. If it drives down turnout, if it makes competitive down ballot races a referendum on Trump, it hurts him.

For someone who constantly rails against Pelosi and the like, you’d think Jimmy would have slightly more tact than to basically call her progressive challenger a fucking idiot.

I agree with koods in that I incorrectly used the quote feature, and I even proposed a new rule so it doesn't happen again.

I disagree with koods that I was being dishonest by adding my "source or make believe" statement back in to emphasize that I was looking for proof of Feldman's statement that "there was a vote".

Even without that statement, koods knows there was never a vote and that I wasn't, in fact, unearthed from reality.

That’s literally all debates are, especially on this forum. To the degree that people change their minds is how very subtly they attempt to change their narrative once they’ve conceded their position was wrong in their own heads. That said, I’ve seen koods change his mind on things. Your failure to convince him isn’t proof of his hard headedness.
