Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong with these psilocybe cubensis * 3

I started growing some psilocybe cubensis from spores out of a cow poop that I found locally and they were all doing well but now that some of them are starting to get bigger their stems are starting to peel from the middle to the cap and down to the substrate they are in. What could be causing this, I mist them with water 3-4 times a day making sure all of the substrate is moist and I give them some manual air flow with a paper plate. Is whats happening normal or are these mushies unsafe for consumption?

You are doing all kinds of things wrong my friend. Firstly, you're allowing them to get way way too dry. They are roughly 90% water and require a very high humidity environment to fruit properly. The splitting could possibly be from that alone but I've never seen it that bad. You could also have vert. I don't know much about it but know it'll cause splitting like that.

Did you pasteurised the poo? I think you need to do a little reading and then try again.

No comment on wether or not those are safe to eat.... Other than that I wouldn't.

I don't want to shit all over you OP, just... it's not a good idea to bring that crap into your house.  I'd dump it outside.  Wipe it from your memory entirely, squat down, and take a good hard... inventory of your life that lead you to these choices.

Butt for real, people usually pasteurize poop and then inoculate it with whatever.  That looks dry as hell.  And it looks like a pile of shit on a paper plate.  It looks like eating any of those mushrooms would lead to you praying for death while rocketing pure spring water out of your ass for a day.

I just want what's best for you.

Thanks for not helping I went elswehere and some people tld me what to do and how I can save all the pins growing on the manure I collected. They were planted from spores from the previous shrooms I picked by flicking the caps on top of the manure and I simply watered it daily and shrooms started to grow. But thanks to more helpful people than the people here that only hve negativity I now have the nessisary knowlege to fix my mistake. I have hey soaking in water and a big bag of manure thats going to mix with it and from the poop cake that I currently have I can break it up and grow them in the ground and should provide healthy and ideal fruits. I came to this website for help because thats what I thought coming here would yield but all I got out of it was shame from everyone that saw my post.
