ive only tried golden teachers, ecuadors and "unknowns" from school. gt's give you a really nice body high but no visuals but im really enjoying eq's, first onset is a really nice body high and then the visual set it, not as potent as some people say but still a nice trip. as for the "unknowns" who cares? i dont...

again this is the neverending discussion on difference in visuals with different strains..

i have tripped on equadors and always had very intense visuals, so wha't you're saying is only what you think. Every psilocybe cubensis has the same active alkaloids, albeit in different ratios, but the amount of visuals depend on the amount you take, set and setting, so please dont spread your misinformation around even more.

The pr's are a littel hard to grow (some say grow these if you want to get used to the difficulty of growing other species of mushrooms). I like the hawaiians

I like the kind that grow.  :wink: Nah I've grown some indoor and outdoor TC's. They were both damn good in my opinion, but the outdoor ones were much more potent. 20 fresh grams of outdoor tc's would blow my mind, while 20 of indoor would only give me a good body buzz. Like i said tho, i like the kind that grow :grin:

Theyre all the same, what I mean is they all contain the same chemical. The only difference is that some have a tiny tiny bit more or less of it in each one, and your trip has everything to do with how you feel at the time, your expectations, your mood, empty or full stomach, your enviroment. It has nothing to do with the strain. If you get a different mushroom all together, like an Azure, youll need way less of course, but thats it....The only difference in each strain is how diffrent they grow. Anyone else agree with me?

* Do you have any scientific backing that 'tiny tiny bit more or less of it in each one' does not make a difference a trip even a bit. Have you tested it out or somebody else & excluded this as a possability? I'd like to know.

Im sure the quantity of Psilocybin will make a difference, but not where it came from. Where it comes from doesnt matter. What strain doesnt matter. But that's just my own opinion, im sure its way more exciting thinking each one strain gives you a different combo of effects. Everything in this topic is opinion based anyway, all reports are personal opinions on thier own experience, not scientificly proven. E.g. " Equadors give better visuals".........

Oh, BTW. I enjoy Equadors. They colonise fast, are easy to pin and you can get some real nice monsters outta them.

*Well like you said that's is your opinion.  I admit, knowing for sure that different combos of mushroom chemicals changing brain chemistry diffrently would be exiting.  Yes, alot of mushroom related topics are opinon based, but we can't exclude the possability that difference in chemicals(not just psylocibin, but small amounts of the like) found in mushrooms make you 'trip" differently.   
Despite moderm advances in medical science,  anything that has to do with the brain is still a gray area.  Buttom line is we just don't know.  What you saying that strain doesn't matter is opinon based; remember we don't know that :smile: Just wanted to make clear that excluding ta possability of something based on your own opinon is fullish :smile:

this isnt about the brain, its about the mushrooms.

fact: the mushrooms we speak of all contain psilocybin and psilocin, no matter what strain, although in different ratios.

sorry to post-whore, but damn, you're dumb.

when you have 2 mushrooms of the same strain, one can have more psilocin/psilocybin than the other one. It can be different because of the substrate, because of the air, because of anything. Psilocin/psilocybin levels vary all the time, even in mushrooms from the same casing, and also when they're dried.
