I asked a question before how to get a cased that is filled with shrooms that arent even a 1/4 inch apart and the reply is, you need practice, and a substrate with lots of nutrients...What is the best substrate for Psilocybe cubensis? I want a case that will blow my mind and a crazy amount of shrooms.....someone help me please........I need to know this...........Your fellow farmer

I don't know about everyone else, but I feel straw and castings as a substrate works very well . Check the FAQs for casing material, but to me, straw and castings (or composted manure) provides all the nutrients you will need, the rest is skill, patience, and The Shroomery's member's experienced advice...

You can have the best materials, nutrients, and a PERFECT enviroment and I will tell you now you need to work for a year or so with cultures to get a strong/large fruiting strain of whatever mushroom your are producing first and foremost.
