A regressive tax on the American people being hailed as a victory against immigration.

America feels so great.

Speaking in generalities doesn't produce any points.

Again, produce a point on the subject matter or don't post at all.  You don't want to get into the habit of posting like The Ecstatic.

Lol. Why you so butt hurt, buddy?

The point is obvious. Trump placed a 5% tariff in Mexican products to try and motivate them to stop illegal immigration. The problem is that the American working class is going to pay those tariffs. How does this motivate Mexico?

Trump said he was going to fix the border. All he does is make excuses and things are far worse than before. How is that not failure?

They may POTENTIALLY pay the tariff and it POTENTIALLY cost them more, but it may not.

1. Nobody is forced to buy a product, there's always other options.

2. We don't know if the product will cost more than before, that's speculation.

I don't think it does because having hundreds of thousands of Central Americans invade your homeland are more expensive and destructive to Mexico than those tiny tariffs.

So send the migrants to the US, they're stupid enough to welcome them. In fact, many US citizens and politicians are dumb enough to encourage them.

I think the bigger question, and most importantly with regards to open borders is, “why are you flooding our countries with hundreds of millions of people that we don’t want?” Yes, there are some people who do want mass immigration, but most do not. So, why is our government doing it?

If we don’t want them, shouldn’t there be an “opt out” options for mass immigration? Like a “no” button or something to that effect?

When you tell your entire country “you can’t stop it so you better just fucking like it” I’m sure you can understand how there may be some who disagree. Then when you’re government hides evidence that mass immigration sucks and they tell you that it’s great I’m sure you can see how many may disagree with this.

Hundreds of millions? Lol

Good question. What is trump doing about it? It has gotten much worse since he got elected. All he does is talk and make bad decisions, like turning down $25 billion to build a wall. The democrats offered him that money. He agreed then two days later changed his mind. Why didn’t he take it?

He’s a terrible negotiator. Nobody wants to make deals with him because he isn’t an honest negotiator m. Take Mexico. They renegotiated nafta, then he capriciously says he’s going to add a five percent tarrif to all imports. Nobody trusts him. That’s why he can’t get anything done.

Globally, yes. There are other countries that aren't on board with this program as well.

As I understood it, $25B was what it would take to complete, and at no point was that offered. For the sake of argument say it was (it may have been I don't know), say the democrats did offer it and Trump turned it down at some point. Is that it? no wall now? You get one shot Trump and you better take it...or what? So now we're just going to keep flooding the country with more migrants because "Orange man bad."

Fuck that. "we offered you $25B once and you turned it down, so there's nothing we can do?" wtF? that makes sense to you? No, it is not Trumps fault that Trump does not have his border wall.

I will admit though, that was a more well thought out response then I was expecting.

Immigration was the reason Trump was elected. How many "politicians" have said they would decrease both legal and illegal immigration?

This is all the Democrats fault. It's because they're bribing them to come with welfare handouts like the kind I already posted. That is why, I don't blame the migrants themselves for trying to better their circumstances, I blame the Democrats for hanging generous welfare handouts to illegals.

They come, get a temporary work visa, go on welfare, boom democratic voter. That's assuming they can't get their hands on a small child and get amnesty through the Democrats increased amnesty policy.

$25 billion was offered in exchange for DACA protection. He accepted. Then two days later he turned it down. And yes, when you make a deal with somebody and they break it, you stop dealing with them. This was before the democrats won the house. DACA was then upheld by the courts. Democrats didn’t need to negotiate it anymore. Things change. Power shifts. Trump lost his moment. That’s the way the world works. Trump sucks at his job. Every single president for the past 50 years has had to deal with the minority’s ability to filibuster legislation. Trump is the only one who can’t deal with it.

The Elite don't give a shit what the US citizens want when it comes to immigration. They want cheap labor and the diluting of wages.

The Elite have always loved immigration- 1. Cheap labor.  2. Different cultures and races create a social divide, that divide protects The Elite.

Today, many people in developed nations hate the history and heritage of their country. As a result, they want to see the destruction of their country, that's why they're in favor of third world migrants invading it.

How Trump Let His Goal of Building a Border Wall Slip Away

Quote:
Trump’s best chance for border wall funding at the level he wants came in February 2018, when Republican Senator Mike Rounds teamed up with independent Senator Angus King on compromise immigration legislation.

It included $25 billion over a decade to build a wall along the southern border and a path to citizenship for so-called Dreamers who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children. It also barred green card holders from sponsoring adult children for permanent residency and reoriented enforcement priorities to focus on criminals in the country illegally.

Trump torched the bill as a "giant amnesty" for narrowing the scope of deportations, and complained that it didn’t end diversity visas or stop "chain migration" -- his derisive term for laws that allow American citizens to sponsor siblings and parents for green cards.

Amid fierce White House opposition and a veto threat from Trump, just eight Republican senators voted for the bill. With support from Democrats it got 54 votes, but that was short of the 60 needed to advance in the Senate. A separate immigration proposal backed by Trump got just 39 votes.

Just to be clear. Nearly every democrat voted for $25 billion in wall funding and the republicans blocked it.

Here’s the problem with trump: he thinks negotiating mean he gets everything he wants or he walks away . That’s the way he operated in business. Politics doesn’t work that way. That’s why business people suck at politics.

SENATE REJECTS DACA BILL, $25 BILLION FOR WALL

Quote:
A divided Senate rejected a bipartisan plan Thursday to help young "Dreamer" immigrants and parcel out money for the wall President Donald Trump wants with Mexico, as Republican leaders joined with the White House and scuttled what seemed the likeliest chance for sweeping immigration legislation this election year.

Ok well that’s makes sense. The key there is “in exchange for daca” no you can’t reward people for breaking the law. As idealistic as that sounds, hindsight is 20/20 and at this point the democrats got an even broader amnesty then they would have originally had, and Trump never got anywhere near $25B again. Now the democrats won’t even fund beds to house them in. They got everything they want, and they’re still bitching because Trump isn’t a Russian agent.
