Can you explain why the most successful cities in America are usually the most diverse?

Most successful cities...

I didn't say the most successful cities have no problems, I said the most successful cities are the most diverse.

Then why isn't that shit happening in Tokyo?

No.  Not unless Belarus overwhelmingly votes to join Russia.

Bahahahah!!! Diversity for thee but not for me. #diversityIsOurStrength. So top Democrat officials don’t want illegal immigrants in their cities...interesting.

Really makes you think. Perhaps they haven’t spoken with Falcon who thinks they’re going to raise his wages, and Koods thinks they’re going to make his community safer.

These anecdotal examples would make you believe that illegal immigrants are an asset that should be fiercely competed over,  but the democratic leadership that is pushing for these open border policies want nothing to do with them...

The democrats who support sanctuary city policies are really anti-illegal? Do you understand the reason for having sanctuary policies?

So lemme get this straight, trump thinks we need a wall to stop illegal immigrants, who he says are dangerous criminals, but he’s happy to release those captured back into the US.

If you show me where I said I think they're going to raise wages, I'll give you five shrooms.

What I've repeatedly said is that immigration is:
Quote:
...a very insignificant part of the problem (you yourself have been unable to demonstrate otherwise).

More like (what's more significant is) allowing tax cuts for the super rich, real minimum wages to slide, elimination of Wall Street regulations, removal of union protections, unaffordable healthcare, lowering of estate taxes, social security cuts, etc...

You know, thing that ACTUALLY matter for the average American.

I don't want open borders and I've said it many times.

its funny to read people's opinions on all of this. funny because it's just that, an opinion. there is no "right answer". i wish we could open a dialogue about cooperation and helping each other.. but no, sadly, folks want to talk about dividing up the pudding and who "deserves" the first bite.

I would just like to say that this was one of the best conversations I've ever had on the topic and I learned a great deal doing it.

I need more room for images I keep having to delete them. "immigration actually help wages" appeared to be the position you would hypothetically be able to take based on the study.

Now, this was fantastic guarding language when you said "one could argue" which means you are correct in your challenge and that you did not directly say you thought they would raise wages, but it is relevant and I'll tell you why at the end.

So in this one as I understood it you were referring to the net affects of migration when you said "better median income" because in  this article it says which sounds like the better median income is coming from the increased wages.

This last part here I claimed immigration would suppress wages and it appeared that you were contesting it, I assumed for the above reasons.

All this to say no where in there did you "say" that you thought they would raise wages, and like I said earlier that was great use of guarding language, but I never claimed you "said" immigration would raise wages I claimed you "thought" immigration was going to raise wages, and due to the above reasons here I did so I was not wrong either.

I just like to argue man I assumed that was why everyone was here. In terms of a dialogue as far as I can tell this is it. I think the shroomery should be publicly funded as a utility for its capacity to bring opposing view points together.

I actually don't believe that immigration helps wages; my argument above was intended to show that there's not much evidence  showing that it hurts wages.

However, since you were honest enough to admit I didn't quite say that, and since you put up what I consider to be a very good argument, I'll give 5 shrooms.  :mushroom2::mushroom2::mushroom2::mushroom2::mushroom2:

Well, the Wash Post has an article on it as well, but it's a paid service.  With that being said, why isn't the MSM covering this story?
