Are the conditions of the Chinese migrant laborers who choose to work in foreign-owned "sweatshops" harsh? Yes. But what offends me more than the existence of those "sweatshops" is the fact that they are THE BEST ALTERNATIVE AVAILABLE to those people. Note that these "sweatshops" are located in a country which proudly proclaims itself to be SOCIALIST.

I admitted no such thing. I had the same level of knowledge of it back then that you apparently have today. It was incomplete, just as yours today is incomplete.

Your level of knowledge of Socialism is more worthless than mine if you haven't yet grasped the fact that its entire underlying premise is that individuals have the right to keep only what The Majority decides they are allowed to keep. For the second time:

Let me make sure I understand you correctly -- you are saying that in a Socialist system, I don't have to let the government take my stuff so they can give it to people I have never met? Do the Marxists know about this recent development?
