Yeah because I'm surrounded by a bunch of cry babies. Political correctness is the reason why the Democrats lost and its going to be the reason they lose the next election.

So explain how a nation with better education could possibly have higher median wages than the US.

Could it be there are other factors at play in a global economy than a few knobs and dials to turn?

Obviously there's MANY different factors at play here.

https://oslo.msz.gov.pl/no/nyheter/oecd_education_ranking_2015

"educational ranking...Poland...11th in the world"

That's not bad considering they have a fraction of the resources relative to the top nations (Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan), but the point is, how is that working out for their real wages?  Not so great.

I get why you think it’s that simple: it’s reassuring to believe all we have to do is tweak a couple minor details and the world will turn out just fine. But then again you aren’t much concerned with the world so much as you are with just white majority countries. So there goes that. Even still, you have to know that there are real systemic issues in these white nations beyond “too many immigrants” or “not enough tariffs.” The entire socioeconomic system is a train wreck being held together by imperialism and militarism, and even then we’re falling into disarray. Economy collapses every few years, climate change destroying the ecosystem, even the stable governments are corrupt as hell.

It’s capitalism buddy. Not immigrants. The sooner you and people like you realize that the sooner we can start building a society that doesn’t require the demonization of half the world’s population.

I'm about economic nationalism, I make no excuses for that reality. I want to fix income and wealth inequality in the US, not throughout the whole world because it's too much to tackle at this point.

If fixing the US involves tariffs, stopping immigration and  changing the tax structure, so be it.  Myself and Bernie have the same opinions, he's not trying to save the world either, it starts at home.

I think we need a independent president. I dont understand how people can just be a Republican or Democrat?  Both sides are both wrong and correct about certain topics. I think George Washington was the only president elected as an independent. I'm completely with Sanders on universal health care and ending the war on Pot . I don't agree with free college because I know the middle class will be the ones paying for it. What we need is less expensive schools and programs that guarantee a job after you graduate. Last I heard only 30% of college graduates get jobs afterwords. So for 70% of the population college is completely useless. So why spend all of that money on free college? I'm also for the 2nd amendment because I'll never trust the government or other citizens. People forget what the world was like 50 years ago. If you believe that the government would never turn against you then you haven't been paying attention to history. History usually always repeats itself. He said that he wants to take away military weapons that are designed to kill people. Fully automatic weapons are illegal in the United states and almost every gun is semi automatic. The only difference between a ar- 15 and any other gun is that it looks dangerous. It's not the most powerful or the most deadly so he literally wants to make it illegal because people are afraid of the way it looks. People are completely brainwashed and usually dont know what their talking about. Violence in the United states is low compared to other countries. I believe that the government uses the news to make it seem like we have a huge problem when we dont. The government doesn't want you to have the ability to protect yourself. We're nothing to them but slave workers and that's the reason why drugs are illegal, the reason they want are guns and the reason we have the highest % of prisoners. Bernie Sanders is nothing but a puppet. He basically says I'll give you pot and health care but in return I want your guns. Fuck that! Pot is going to be legal even if he doesn't win and he's not the only one for universal health care. I can't think of a good reason to vote for him because we can do better. We need one of are own in the captains chair. Just my opinions on Bernie Sanders..

If that’s really your goal then you’d volunteer for Bernie’s campaign, instead of turning this thread, and every other, into a referendum on your thoughts about immigrants.

We already have more educated US citizens than ever before in the US, yet the top 1% have more wealth relative to the bottom 80% in over 80 years. So that proves your thesis is already incorrect.

That has NOTHING to do with education.  It has mainly to do with lower than ever taxes on the rich and a huge ramp in executive compensation at the expense of workers.

Here's the reality of education's impact on wages (from an old post of mine):

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Exactly, so why is he suggesting education is one of the key components to reduce wealth and income inequality?

Don't you think most of the top .10 of 1% have advanced college degrees that skew the chart?

Do you think if more US citizens had advanced degrees it would eliminate a system that creates billionaires at the expense of the bottom 80%?  No it wouldn't.

BTW, there's not always a need for more educated people, there's a saturation level.

No, maybe maintain the same level, I'm advocating what Bernie does on immigration and globalization to fix wealth and income inequality.

Your platform is a sieve, full of holes and dripping dishonesty.

Populations unanimously gain with education, economic benefit is not the only measuring stick.

So there's no such thing as an over-investment in education that provides a negative return on investment?

Do factory workers need 4-6 years of higher education or on the job training if the company desperately needs them?

These are the same types of hyperbolic bad faith arguments that the rich use when people discuss the minimum wage.

“Oh we should raise wages because it’ll help workers? Then why not raise it to $1000 an hour?!”

Completely disingenuous.

Self proclaimed economic nationalist can’t understand how education helps our work force.

For a guy who loves to rally against the elite you sure have some retarded positions. Maybe it’s on purpose?
