If controlled, kraton is easier to give up. Kratom becomes hard after while, but if you get into it knowing its temporary and keep doses minimal, you will be straight.

Fuck alcohol. Society drilled it into everyone's mind that alcohol is cool and relaxing. It is not.

Only time it is cool is when it loosens your girl up a bit to try anal, but like anything... too much gets old very quick.

:werd:

The last time I had a hang over was the morning after my 23rd birthday (I am now 32)...I was never a regular or heavy drinker (I drank maybe twice a month with friends back then), I just got drunk on my b-day that year after being fed a bunch of shots of whisky all night from people...I woke up that morning feeling like absolute garbage and swore I'd never have a hang over ever again...and I haven't...

No other drug comes anywhere close to making me feel as shitty and terrible as alcohol does the morning after drinking, and I was never a regular or heavy drinker at all....A ridiculously painful throbbing headache, can't focus, sensitive to light, mind/cognition is slow & cloudy, head feels dizzy and balance in general is a bit wonky, body aches, feeling a bit nauseated and queasy if not actually puking, I feel weak and kinda shaky, all around I feel like my body has been poisoned...Alcohol makes me feel like absolute shit the day after drinking and there is no other drug that comes anywhere close to making me feel as terrible as alcohol does.

Cocaine has never come close....the comedown from meth and the day after using meth doesn't come close...the comedown and days after using MDMA doesn't come close...The extent of opioid w/d I've experienced doesn't come close...nothing compares to alcohol, no other drug has ever made me feel as terrible as an alcohol hang over.

I hear ya...

Ritalin isn't nearly as detrimental to the body as alcohol is.

Look into getting some "milk thistle" ....If you've been a regular drinker for a while no doubt the drink has had an impact on your liver....Milk thistle is some terrific stuff for the liver, it not only protects the liver but has been shown to heal and improve the function of the liver. It's one thing I highly suggest to those that drink heavily or frequently.

A warning, never mix ritalin with alcohol, it feels way too good.

Think about being in love or winning the lotery then multiply it by 10, ritalin is 5 times more lethal than cocaine, so don't do it.

I'd rather take MDMA and some Meth if I wanted dopamine and serotonin over 9000

When cocaine is consumed with alcohol in the body, a metabolite is formed which is more potent (and far more cardio-toxic) than cocaine itself.

Ritalin is quite similar to cocaine, I would not be surprised if something like that is going on.

I totally agree.

Cocaine (which is similar to ritalin) and alcohol are my two least favorite drugs, two drugs that I feel are rather lame and dull and don't really have much "depth" to em'.

Ritalin was very "meh" the few times I tried it (just like cocaine)...Adderall or meth is tremendously better in lots of ways (tho I'm not a fan of stimulants in general and rarely dabble with em').

Mushrooms give me way better feels than any of those things though, by far!...genuine, rich, warm, hits the soul real deep, ecstatic, leaves me feeling nothing but wonderful the morning/days/weeks after.

I've used valium in the evenings before to help give up alcohol. 5 or 10 mg depending on how anxious I am until the worst subsides. Normally about 2 weeks and it starts to ease and I start sleeping better. Takes a full 3 months to start thinking properly again. That's around the time I might think "yeah I've got it beat" and drink a little again, but it's a way slippery slope from there.

Fuck alcohol. Its put in me the hospital more times then I can count, from alcohol poisoning to dehydration seizures the next day. Ive done a lot of drugs both uppers and downers, but Im defiantly a downers guy, I love opiates and weed...

Nothing compares to the classic hang over... maybe I'm just a little bitch when it comes to booze idk but I am part First Nations and I'm not sure if thats why but my body just reacts different to it then most of my friends/ peers, I am usually the drunkest even if we all drink the same amount. Alcohol makes me act stupid and ignorant as fuck..

I just started using kratom, and its much more enjoyable for me with almost no "hang over" either... This summer instead of drinking ciders at the lake ill be drinking kratom and lots of water, smoking my ganja.

Fuck coke too, ive seen it ruin too many lives around me and makes me hella depressed.

Yeah i also hate coke, alcohol and ritalin, i was drunk and on  ritalin when I wrote that shit.

But damn that crap feels heavenly for about 30 minutes, too bad it's so dangerous and addictive. And it's lab grade, so it probably feels better than coke when abused.

I never tried coke, but ritalin and alcohol it's such a sexual drug, you feel like orgasming by just seeing a chick in a skirt.
Then you have the worst anxious depressed come down of your life and it's so compulsive that you almost don't care about your life, it's very easy to overdose.

I miss mushrooms so much, I wish I had the balls to try it again, it's a really beautiful chemical but at the same time very dark.

They aren't dark at all IME.

Mushrooms are not inherently "dark" or "light".

Maybe your mind goes into a dark place and you have experiences that are "dark", but that is not the mushrooms themselves....that is just your own individual mind  .

They can be a terrific tool/medicine for breaking habits/cycles/addictions.

All I experienced during the comedown was a bad headache  . No depression, no compulsion to re-dose...just a really terrible headache. For some reason each time I did ritalin (only a few times years ago) I would get a real shitty headache as the effects started to fade. Like real bad, bad enough that I have no interest in touching the stuff ever again lol.

I'm not a big fan of stims in general though.

Drunkards who feel "out of control" and "powerless" are ignorant of the sweet seductive allure of a massive hangover.

I heard on a joe Rogan that a really good tactic to quiting addiction is to set yourself a date to quit by. Even if you fail to meet that goal, keep setting a next date to quit and really try hard to stop by that date. Its a way of altering your neural pathway of addiction. Eventually you'll be encouraged to kick the habit for good. Might work
