Peak season is usually November in wash/oregon.  I wouldn't touch foot in town any sooner if I was trying to make it a sure thing.

The weather here is very out of wack and it can make predicting fruiting a pain in the ass.  I live far enough out of town now that I just cultivate patches at home for a sure bet, and hunt for fun.

Sorry, dumb question,  but at what temperatures does Ovoideocystidiata fruit outdoors? and how many days of that temp do I need to wait before hunting?

And hunting them, in the city/suburbs of Seattle, I'd be looking for wet areas around wood debris?

I did try and Google the answers, but I couldn't find anything specific.

No point in looking for ovoids until after your area's last frost date.
