Accidentally broke a mushroom on brf cake

So i have a couple cakes going right now and doing them invitro for privacy purposes. Well just a couple minutes ago i took the cup off to fan one and while putting it back on it pulled the base of the shroom off the cake about halfway. Will it continue to grow or is it done for?

That one mushroom is probably done for.  Cut it off and let the rest do their thing.

Depends how detatched it got. Time will tell

Mushrooms are amazing I've seen fruits grow on myc stuck to the side of jars or tubs , that were connected by just a couple tiny mycelium threads

It's amazing how much water can be pumped through those tiny tubes

A good little tip I've learned when knocking a couple over.
If the mushroom starts to get soft to the touch, it's days are numbered.
If it stays firm, it's still fighting the good fight.
