Actually I can't recall anything Antifa said about dating white people specifically, it's just more often that white people are responsible for all those things listed on that sign. I could post a lot of videos of that kind of stuff if you want. The dating aspect reminded me of that sociology professor in NY Jessie Daniels that was teaching that white people having a family is furthering white supremacy, as one example.

Yeah yeah, we've gone over this before. I couldn't care less what people try to say about it anymore especially since the threats these kids have gotten due to their reactions are far worse than their actual reactions. I'd rather focus on the assholes on video that say "if the school gets shot up then they get what they deserved" if I'm gonna focus on it at all.

That literally has no bearing whatsoever on this conversation. That's a separate conversation. No, people shouldn't be threatening children. That doesn't change what happened, it's a diversion tactic.

I have a question for you though. How would you feel if these were adults, acting in the same way. Would you be supportive of adults acting like those smarmy faced pieces of trash?

Maybe I would be. I'd definitely be talking back to the Indians and the Black Israelites. The hat isn't my style though. Except lately with all the things I've seen I have been kind of feeling the urge to get one just to test some of the assholes that pretend they're bad enough to attack me for it though. :shrug:

DC Antifa Leader Charged With ‘Ethnic Intimidation’ Related To Attack On Marines

Washington, D.C. Antifa leader Joseph “Jose” Alcoff, also known as “Chepe,” was arrested and charged with multiple felonies in Philadelphia on Jan. 10 in connection to the Antifa mob attack against two Marines in November.

Alcoff faces 17 charges, including multiple counts of aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, conspiracy and terroristic threats, and one count of robbery while inflicting serious bodily injury.

An affidavit filed in the case reveals that The Daily Caller News Foundation’s reporting on Alcoff’s connection to violent Antifa groups was an integral factor leading to his arrest.

The Marines, Alejandro Godinez and Luis Torres, testified in December that a group of 10 to 12 Antifa members called them “Nazis” and “white supremacists” and attacked them on the street despite their denials that they had no association with the right-wing group demonstrating nearby.

During the attack, Godinez said he shouted “I’m Mexican” at the mob, which allegedly led the attackers to call him a “spic” and “wetback.”

Thomas Keenan and Thomas Massey were arrested in November in connection to the beating. Keenan, who has been called a “leader” of the Antifa contingent in the Philadelphia area, was arrested and charged with rioting alongside Alcoff in New Jersey in 2011.

Torres notified detectives in Philadelphia that Alcoff was a member of the group that attacked him after reading TheDCNF’s reporting detailing Alcoff’s connection to Keenan, Philadelphia Magazine reported, citing an affidavit filed in Alcoff’s case.

Torres provided police pictures of the suspects at the time of the attack, leading investigators to “strongly agree” that Alcoff was the person in his photos, the affidavit states.

Alcoff is an organizer of Smash Racism DC, the Antifa group responsible for mobbing Fox News host and DCNF co-founder Tucker Carlson’s house in November and for chasing Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz from a D.C. restaurant in September.

Alcoff made significant efforts to separate his true identity from his fanatical personas, “Chepe” and “Jose Martin,” TheDCNF reported in December.

When speaking as Chepe and through his Twitter handle @sabokitty, Alcoff has called for the killing of the rich and encourages using violence to bring “a world without capitalism, without private property … that is socialist and communist.”

Alcoff pled not guilty to the charges and is currently out on $15,000 bail. His lawyer did not immediately return a comment.

Interesting. I've been looking for more information on this case. It's a weird one, what with the claim that "spic" and "wetback" were allegedly shouted by the accused.

I've been looking for updates for a month without luck. This article doesn't really give too much new info, but at least I know that the trial is still ongoing.

Eh... I'm a capitalist. I truly think you need incentive for progress and money is good for that. You definitely cant punish someone for being successful.
It's a bit of a fine line though. I do think our anti-trust laws are important! And they are most definitely being violated by some well known companies.

In order to preserve the profit motive, while also generally preventing billionaires, you would have to impose a tax structure that would redistribute that wealth/resources, but also not put a cap on income. Basically, you would have to have a top marginal rate that would tax most of a person's earnings beyond a certain point, and also a tax on inheritance.

I don't know if you're aware of how a progressive tax system works (this is what we have here in America), but I'll break it down anyway. This is what such a system might look like:

On income up to $25,000 the tax rate would be 17%

On income between $25,001 and $50,000 you would pay 25%

On income between $50,001 and $450,000 you would pay 45%

And on income beyond $450,001 you would pay 90%.

(These numbers are all hypothetical. They could be set at any percentage/bracket)

Therefore, a person who earned $450,001, would only pay 90% on $1, and if they earned $10 million dollars, they wouldn't pay 90% on the first $450,000, but only on the $9,550,000 that they earned beyond the $450k. They would pay 4 different tax rates, one for each income bracket.

They would still be able to keep roughly $1,250,000, which is an incredible income. You might also tax inheritance in a way that prevents someone from inheriting a billion dollars, but still allows them to inherit a very large sum of money. Let's say $50 million. That seems more than generous to me.

The rest of that money is redistributed throughout society, which is good for the economy. There are innumerable ways that it could be distributed.

You know, I was just reading the other day, that a person couldn't count to a billion, if they started from the moment they were born, and continued in perfect rhythm, for their entire life. Our minds can hardly even grasp how big of a number a billion truly is. To think that anyone should be worth $25 billion, is a bit absurd.
