Thank you - definitely helpful and much appreciated . I should say I have had some moderate success with sgfc/ pf tek, hippy tek and this was to be my foray into bulk casing. A vendor was pushing surplus of Pf classic syringe very cheap so I bought MANY only to later read on this site that the ‘strain’ is kinda weird at bulk and better suited for cakes. So here I am just working with what I got and consider this a working beta for getting conditions right inside my greenhouse for many more experiments to come. Because of my professional background certifying clean rooms in biotech and semiconductor industry I am lucky to have access to serious IAQ equipment and am trained in Industrial Hygiene clean room certification procedures. I’m hoping the hard data I collect will eliminate some of the wheel-spinning regarding creating the perfect fruiting environment and the soft experiential side y’all give me is invaluable, much appreciated:)
I’m psyched I got some pins in past few days -PF Classic IS weird! Pins are as big as my biggest toe!

they look all fat chubby with weird stems and dark caps from being over saturated

Thanks Fun, I did what you suggested, fanned them till they looked damp rather than wet -and now I just periodically crank up the ultrasonic for an hour or so until a nice cloud forms and rh is greater than 100% (117%) and cakes are now glistening. Then I aim a small fan inside the MARTHA to “remove the glistening” and then attenuate the ultrasonic back down to very low setting  where rh steady maintain 90-97% for several hours. CO2 is 590-670. I do this humidity blasting instead of misting. I have pins forming like crazy now and my fruits are fat and healthy. Pin to harvest 5 days.
These are PF classics .

Ok I, a nub, also with a tent doing mono tubs. I have had a failure and a small win. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
so my GT was a fail, not total. they are coming around after dunking them. My temps were to high so now 72 degrees max if I can help it.
got the Martha and all the bells and whistles.
got Mo D's and B+ in, semi success. Just done dunking them. OH had a MD 10.5 gram. whooo hooo. but the 2nd one was bigger. spores....

here is an idea for more FAE on a timer. thought before I punch a hole in the tent.

A computer fan, attached to a Amish macaroni salad container with poly fill as a filter attached to the tent and do it on a timer.
I have 90 plus humidity with out the bells and whistles. IOW I have just a air pump and stone for humidity running and not the fan/heater assembly with lava.

ok cant figure out how to attach a pic.

so it is simple. I drilled holes in the lid of the container to allow air flow and hold the poly in. the other end of the container was cut open for air flow and filter change/cleaning. The fan was silicon'd to the lid to PULL the air out into the tent.

Attaching to the tent? my theory was to clear tape the crap out of it, 3-4 layers, the size of the opening of the lid/container. Cut it out just smaller than the opening. I then snap it together and add some more tape for support. Back up. I plan on having the fan just shelf high for support and or maybe zip tie it.

then add a timer. Now the next question is, ok, a min or 2-4 times a day? it will move some serious air.

just checked it, air/fan drying, and the air movement is not so much. May cut more holes. But I dont want to suck the poly into the fan and cause a fire or have to much air movement. But it will be placed low on the tent.

Ok beat the nub up... LOL. thanks for any guidance.

I punched some holes in the tent but not sure they are helping much...  I also unzipped my doors to about 20% open.  I don’t have perlite.  Just a hole in the bottom where water runs into a drip pan.

I recommend misting and fanning your cakes..  mine have taken off.  I have them in a tub and it is filled with wet vermiculite... and has aluminum boats for the cakes.

I can and mist 2-3x per day.  And my flushes have been starting to be really nice.

Very Cool Fun -a natural work of art indeed! Beautiful XMas gift packages arriving just in time for the holidays;) Thanks too, I don't know actual fresh weight because my scale is too small and I already started drying process. This is for my own private research anyhow. As for size difference, based on site anecdotes I am guessing the "strain" type PF Classic may have much to do with jumbo size fruits. Earlier in this thread one of the mods suggested my pins were bloated with dark caps due to "over saturation"(which I took to mean too much water) and so I dialed back misting a bit -however those bloated pins were actually the ones that evolved into the largest healthiest fruits. Initially upon cutting back on misting my cakes became very light w/ bluish bruising hue and some tipped over due to weight of fruit so I reversed course and sprayed liberally. I noticed in this crop the fruits started off as dark headed mutants but normalized considerably by day 3 or 4 -even with increased misting. It was a great crop and continues to bring daily yields.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I brought my temps up to 85-90F and growth seemed to just explode -so there I left it! I understand that contams like warmer temps too, but I already produced enough for my own research so I figured I would try to carry out for experiment/ experience. Barely noticeable pins turn to harvest-able fruits in less than 5 days at these temps.

This is most of the 1st flush in my MARTHA prototype -I have some decent stragglers on 3 cakes but the remaining harvested cakes just went for a cold dunk in the fridge;) LOL I seem to be short 5 dried grams but that is for another thread oO !  How's it going on your end?

Im interested in your FAE idea---If you do a site search for "how do I upload pictures there is a link that walks you through it. once uploaded its then basically copy Paste the url directly into post and pics will magically appear when the post is submitted.

Well it’s appears you have it dialed in pretty well. So now what you should do is spawn grain to bulk in trays or shoeboxes and see better returns. Run a few edibles, Cyclocybe aegerita would be a nice candidate. Just to do cakes in that would be a waste.
