Im looking for a list of shroom types and whats good and bad so i know what to order for second try. Try to include difficulty and potency

Your question is a little off.
Mushrooms that I like to eat Shitakes and Morels.
I think almost all the spore races of P. cubensis are about the same to fry off of.

Ryche has various strains' qualities...I've heard the Tai's and the PESA's are of the highest potency...and of course, Pan cyans are much stronger (harder to grow)
Read up on Ryche's site. It's a good read, anyways.

where are you reading this from?
i've seen alot of links to www.thehawkseye.com,
if you notice in all his bios' for each strain, he praises "how potent they are" or something along the lines of that....
when trying to find potentcy, i think that research is best done where there arent any products to sell....
not trying to flame ryche or anything, but facts are better than opinions, anyone catch my drift?

I like the Mexicana and the South American, just my humble opinion. I find them all fascinating though.

I didnt read that in ryches site...and i agree that its very funnie, that he describe "<<potency>>"," nice highs","social high","non social high" LOL this is 100% marketing for kids...
Claim to predict the unpredictable....hmmmmmmmmmmm

There's some truth to Ryche's descriptions. As for potency of each strain, it depends on environmental factors. The intensities and character of each variety he describes is quite accurate.

some will agree with ryche's descriptions, others will disagree.
the point is that there is no consensus about the putative difference between strains.
thus, the intelligent will draw the conclusion that all, or the overwhelming majority of, the differences are due to set/setting/growingconditions/chance.

Potentcy in the P.C.'s does have to do with growing, and especially drying. But I think some strains do give different anxiety levels, and strains deffinitely have different growing times. The Eq's are real fast and on birdseed you can't ask for anyhting faster, the thai's yield alot I like the mexicans starch white look and what seems like a more audible trip...could go on and on.........

I like the Mazatepecs they give a great trip and grow very fast
despite what ryche says on his site. I'm not to hot on the Thai's though.
