Agar to Grain
    #25657562 -

I did my first transfer from agar to grain last week. Started with 3 jars.  I probably didn't take enough mycelium from the agar.  The jars were slow to colonize. The best looking one I gave a shake, and it is recovering quickly, almost fully in 3 days. I am wanting to make sure I am not wasting time with contaminated jars.  Does this jar look like it has cobweb mold or anything else that might have slowed the growth?

Looks good enough to get some fruit imo. I think a2g isn’t that fast anyway. LI, LC, slurry, and g2g for speed.

That depends on how you do it. If you drop one small agar wedge it'll take its sweet time. But if you slice a whole plate up it will probably be faster than LI.
