Im married but my advice is date a freaky "slut". Sex is fun so find someone that wants to fuck you too. If they cheat on you you get to go fuck someone new so :shrug: big deal.

Sex is easier to get than a relationship. And nobody gets into one without sex first. It's the modern way.

I'd say I've had a fair bit of relationship experience throughout my life. My count is up near the fifty mark, and that includes multiple long term relationships (3+ years), a marriage, and two stints of polyamory (four months and then one year, five concurrent partners max), with eighteen months of celibacy between them.

My conclusion is is this; monogamy is NOT how humans operate. It is forced, almost always, and almost always due to insecurity, which is the WORST reason to force anything.

My current stance is that it is best to have one 'main' partner, but to allow them the freedom, and to not be bashed into not having ones own freedom taken away, from sleeping with another person, from time to time. This does not equate to being a slut and fucking anything that moves in my eyes, but just not being tied down to physical relations with one person only. Anyone honest knows we all have eyes for others at times. So, like I found in Africa, where they're sex crazy, to have a 'main' chick, and also a 'side' chick, seems the most healthy to me. As a male at least. The girls there I discussed this with at length didn't seem to feel the same, but that seems elementary to me, given the fact women potentially have years of burden from a single sexual interaction compared to males.

Who knows, I'll probably re-adjust again at some point, as is always the way with the human condition and growth therein. However it seems to me the best compromise possible, given the variables and necessities of the human condition based on the sex we're born into.

Let go, let go, let go.

Those words always see me through the hardest parts of this condition.
