Feature request: Editing post within 30 secs

I fuck up a lot of my posts. I always notice as soon as I submit. This is because I am a moron.
It would be nice to have a short editing window, like say 30 seconds, where you can fix your
post and resubmit without the "Edited by...." being displayed.

I just edited a post in Mush Cult right after posting. Still shows up.

You have 5 minutes where you can modify a post without it being flagged as "edited". This is optional, and can be selected on the edit screen by checking or unchecking the "Mark as Edited?" checkbox. If you want to change the default value, you can go to your Display Preferences and look for the option "Do you want the 'Mark Post as Edited' default off or on?"
