Based on what? Do you only mean macro adjunct "lagers"/swill? Most real beers have exponentially more malt and at least 60x the amount of hops. The majority sold closer to 150x (6lbs/barrel) than Bud Light.
Do you know why wine is beneficial? I don't assume it to be liquor, but real beer has way more kinds and percentage of antioxidants than wine. The terpenes in hops (also very neuroprotective and presumably help prevent cancer), grain proteins/starches/converted sugars of malt, probiotic and B vitamin loaded yeast. Throw it in a barrel, as is common today but was standard centuries ago, when monks were commonly doing that Lenten (beer) fast; When breweries started hopping the hell out of everything and brewing contemporarily American Strong ales a la Arrogant Bastard, after realizing that it lowered the spoiling risk from a month to years/forever (the original " IPA"'s). The barrel giving the healthy tannins, which are a big aspect of real "brown liquor" (not caramel food colored, like Bacardi/Jose / most other big brands), and wine. Aside from the neuroprotective and easily cardioprotective (it does lower risk of clotting at moderate consumption) effects of ethanol itself.

You can pitch beer all you want but health wise and calorie wise beer is beat, it is no secret daily beer consumption makes you fat, the more heavily hopped the beer the more calories it has plus carbination.

Stay away from canned beers peeps pay that extra for bottles, Aluminum is a nerve toxin tho it doesnt build up like lead getting hammered on a case or sipping a few after work thats been sitting in a warehouse for who knows how long is probably not good for you even in small amounts.
Plus u can use the bottles for Molotov cocktails

No need to search for "organic". Look for local real beer available, see its BeerAdvocate rating (and the brewery's. Even the relatively giant Sierra Nevada is more than carbon neutral; Real breweries are generally good-hearted. It's the smaller/local breweries that are more likely to do something like that, and that said, support your local breweries. Still unlikely to be any sort of dangerous chemicals on the grain/hops/yeast. There's merely a handful sources for grain relatively to the thousands of micro breweries.

They have known for many decades that moderate drinkers live longer than alcohol abstainers. I don't remember any studies to determine if its a causal relationship or a spurious correlation, and its probably a little of both. Besides the physical effects of moderate drinking, my theory is that moderate drinkers are on average less uptight than abstainers, which would also lead to longer life span.

People who drink modest amounts of alcohol live longer for the same reason that people who use multivitamins live shorter.

Think about it. Think outside the box.
People with frail health are not going to chance drinking booze, they will be inclined to decrease risk so they will opt for vitamins instead. People with robust health don't feel a particular need to curb their low grade alcohol habit or look for over the counter remedies to feel better and be healthier, such as multivitamins.
Why do I drink one-half cup of coffee a day? Because I'm a post-heart attack heart patient who'll get sick from one strong cup of coffee.
Why do you drink 6 cups of strong coffee and an energy drink? Because you are not a post-infarction heart patient.
Does that mean that drinking six cups of coffee os healthier than drinking one-half?
Think again. You poison yourself harder because you can afford it with your more robust health. If YOU drank half a cup you'd live longer than you live now with six.
Of course big pharma wants us both to poison ourselves harder so they can medicate the consequences.
The box they shoehorn you in is that association equals causation. Wearing top grade safety boots doesnt make you more likely to end up in a wheelchair, its the fact that you work at a job that requires you to wear top grade safety boots.
