Black and Tan....

Get a 4 pack of Guinness Draught in the can (NO BOTTLES).
Get a 6 pack of Bass Ale.

Pour your glass 1/2 way with bass and top off with Guinness by pouring it over the back of a spoon into the glass. This makes it float on top and gives you a real quality drinking experience.

Well, my official drink is green apple juice. It comes in concentrate over here. Really good shit. And, by the way, it tastes almost nothing like regular apple juice. To describe it any further is to belittle the experience...

Thats the only way to drink it... The pint cans have a floating widget ball inside full of nitrogen. When you open the can the ball pops and it carbonates the beer with nitrogen in the same ratio that it does out of the tap.

This is the closest thing youll get to a true "pub" Guinness from the tap. Bottles just cant do that.

agreed, guiness bottles suck. drinking a 4 pack of guiness cans is like eating a whole thanksgiving meal. but with more drunkeness

Bottles rock. They've had widgets for over a year. Try one. They are NOW better than the cans... anyway, stay tuned for my black and white beer recipe.

They rock.

Here's a photo of my friend, Don Quixote's invention, a black and white. You'll see a Good Guiness bottle too. Only get Guiness Stout bottles with white tops. The other bottles are Guiness Extra Stout. It is MUCH more bitter. They aren't quite pints but they come in six packs and they do taste better than cans. More like the tap.

Hoegaarden is an amazing beer too.

Very very good stuff.

I just got back from getting a bowl of cereal and I couldn't help but noticed that the Norwegian guy, Gunnar, was drinking Guinness. Even heard that cool thing in the bottle. hehe

He had this big ole big beer glass and everything. It sort of makes me wish that I could actually drink beer.

Well, I have forced myself to drink it before, when there was a party at my house and a quarter barrel. I ended up drinking too fast and passing out.

I can drink beer, it is just that the taste makes me feel to throw up.

However, if you want to meet me on the vodka/Black Velvet/ hard alcohol level, I'll drink that stuff. :grin:

I just tend to drink too quickly.
