Honestly - I don't care. Ivy league schools are private (and extremely overrated) - thus they're free to do whatever they like. There's not even a place to write down you're Jewish in applications Unless you go out of your way to specify it as an 'Other' ethnicity - otherwise it's just White for most. You're probably imagining that Jews commonly have some person they can just call up and get a free pass

But yeah - I can understand feeling pissed, in the position of uneducated southern/midwestern whites... it's really both sides of the shit coin. Their culture has no emphasis on education - no emphasis on success - and yet because they're white they're treated as if they have ample cultural push to achieve those things... when really they're nearly as disadvantaged by their culture as southern black culture nowadays... of course in their case it's their own doing - far more than could be said of southern blacks.

And this conversely ties into Jewish culture - which has been unintentially making poor white downtrodden people just like the Southerners (ala medieval peasants) - mad for thousands of years. When they came to Europe en masse from the Islamic world in the 600-1000's - they came highly educated, and they've kept a tight inter-community emphasis on education/success ever since. While Europeans were almost entirely illiterate with no schooling system for hundreds of years post-Roman Empire - Jewish communities had been running inner-community higher-educational academies for hundreds of years before the first European university opened (which was then very exclusive)

So yeah I understand all of that pissing people off when they come from a society that doesn't give a single fuck about them and is happy with them being poor uneducated fools their entire lives. It's really not fair in some senses - that people's communities don't give a fuck about their success and don't set them up for it. That's almost impossible in Jewish families.. the pressure to get an education and be successful in something is very high - much akin to East Asian families - but with a little less soulless studying.

Why are you bringing up uneducated redneck whites from the South or Midwest?  What do they have to do with Ivy league acceptance rates?    You realize not all whites applying to Havard are uneducated hillbillies?
