Doesn't have to be anything specific, you can be looking for advice or just want to blow off steam because its a frustrating world we live in and there are so many things I would like to just make a huge rant about but don't want to make an entire thread for it.

Here's my rant!

People in the US are spending inordinate amounts of time bitching about NFL players kneeling during the Anthem.  I hate that shit but what about North Korea trying like hell to bomb us?

What about the stock market being higher than ever, yet we have more broke and pissed off people more than ever?

No one seems to care about that but Wait!  There's a statue over 100-years old
in the South of a Confederate soldier!  Call the press!  Tear it down!

How about this : those folks that got shot up in Vegas were at a country and western gig . No wonder the guy  had it in for them. Country and western grates on me worse than a boring preacher on Sunday too.

I'm losing motivation to do my schoolwork and I think its because I absolutely fucking hate getting up early five days a week. I really wish I could've created a schedule that would allow me to get up late like last year. Every day though I come back to my apartment and I'm so fucking tired from getting up early for classes that the last thing I want to do is study or do any work. Its got to be getting up early too because last year, I didn't feel this lazy even though I had significantly more homework and studying to do for my classes last semester than I do this semester. The problem is, even though the obvious signs of being tired are fading away, its like the exhaustion is just fading into the background and taken on a much more subtle form than at the beginning of the semester when I felt really obviously tired. The subtle form of exhaustion being that I have significantly less tolerance for doing work and my work ethic has just crashed this semester. Last semester, I would know that I had schoolwork, and even though I didn't want to do it, I'd still be like "well too bad you have to, just fucking do it now and then you can take a nap or go hang out with your friends when its done." Now, I do everything I can to procrastinate. Hanging out with my roommates is a method of procrastination. Or I'll go shower, or then I'll go eat a snack, or I'll hit up the gym. Anything to put it off for just a little longer.

I'm only halfway through the semester but I really need a fucking break. It doesn't even need to be a true break as in no classes or work at all, I just need a fucking break from waking up early. Like not have to go to the morning classes for a week or so.

anonymous 1. Had the same issue.  I went back to school after like 5 years and ended up spending the grant money on drugs and dropping out.  Funny part is im still eligible as long as i go to a class about attendance. But anyways, im stuck at a job that seems to be getting slower and really wanna find something better.  My parents have a business and ive asked them to show me the ropes of sales so i can start making good money, but they keep saying im not capable.  It pisses me off cause they wont even give me a chance.  Thats what everyone said when they said i couldnt be server, but i showed everyone wrong when i ended up getting a few, but then got busted for stealing. They let my brother in on it and now he has a house , a boat, timeshare ect and is making twice as much money at another business doing better than my parents. Anyways, same old shit.  Wanna better job, better life. This year has been shitty and i really wanna start doing something better

I see what you're saying. Its like something in my brain is slowly shutting off though. Its leaking into every aspect of my life. I haven't contacted several people who want to be my friend because I'm so damn tired, I've not gone to events I've been invited to opting instead to lay on the couch watching TV. Then I'll lay there like I'm about to fall asleep even though I'm not close to falling asleep. At parties I don't have anywhere near the energy that I did last year. I used to ask people a lot of philosophical or intellectual questions. I'm normally very curious about these things but now I feel like its getting more and more uncommon for me to bring these things up. My parents have been pissed at the grades I've been getting lately and I'm going to have to drop one of my classes. It fucking sucks, I feel so tired and stressed out and I feel like I don't have the right to be so stressed out when I don't even have that much work.
