Once again, do you have additional evidence that you would present to that jury?  Or is it nothing more than the FBI saying they are "highly confident" Russia did it?

I'm just trying to understand how you concluded "those emails were obtained by Russia hacking the DNC".  It appears you have nothing more than the FBI saying they are "highly confident" Russia did it.  Which by your own admission is not 'proof beyond a reasonable doubt', and 'proof beyond a reasonable doubt' by your own admission is "wrong all the time" anyway.  :shrug:  So your standard is even lower than one that "is wrong all the time".

I just wanted to point that out, that's all so you stop pretending I'm the one that's biased.  :smirk:

Someone set up his new Windows installation with "p@ssword" as the initial account password. This has nothing to do with the email breach, and he could well have even changed the Windows password anyway once he got the computer back.

I warn you, the Windows 8 system is VERY different from what we had back at the WH. Might require a tutorial. It's an operating system that is best with touch screens, which we obviously don't have. This email was sent to him at the gmail account that was later hacked. He's not being sent the password to the gmail account he's currently logged into, that would make no sense. It's for the Windows 8 installation he's being told about for the rest of the email. The relevance to the email breach is precisely zero.

the 'investigation' has boomerang's on the democrats.  trying to push so hard--and what they have been about lorreta and various 'misdeed' by Obama administrations, the repub want to to call a prosecutor to investigate fast and furious, the IRS, etc. 

Is it all in play now, you should want you have.  Have enough to know that the republics don't have any balls do their jobs in the first place, but has been talked about about it with in the last few days.  The talked has been centralized about the Border Patrol agent that was killed a weapon that was sold to the cartel during fast and furious round.

You might have some thing there.  Windows is a easy to hack. 

Also anything to the private server on Clinton's basement was open to an easy access.  They have rules about server, etc, handle mails etc.  Why is the question they want.  I am sure they want to hacks, ie. the russians. 

The Russian isn't to tap into the DNC/Clinton information.  Russian agents  wanted to the US Government and get information to blackmail, and I am sure most thought Clinton was a ripe target for blackmail.


More why they wanted to Clinton/the DNC could turn on the dems.  It is a better conspiracy, to game the democrats.

There's no indication that his computer itself was hacked as far as I know. It's believed the hack was done through a phishing email targeted at Podesta that appeared to be from Google. Some idiot in the IT dept told Podesta the email was legit, and Podesta then thought it was OK to click the link in the email (and enter his password there to change it) even though the IT guy told him to go straight to the Gmail site to change the password. Even if he had a great password, it wouldn't have mattered at that point.

They both fucked up, but the supposed expert should never have told him that the email really was from Google. Podesta at least made an attempt at due diligence (running the email by IT before doing anything).

My thinking is that it was just to sow distrust of the democratic process (and American institutions generally) and create general chaos. Trump getting elected also seems to further these goals.

Blackmail would only make sense if there was additional stuff held back and not released, which could well be the case. The breach hurt Clinton's chances of winning though, and thus also the potential value of blackmailing her party, so I'm not sure how likely this scenario is. It could make sense as a backup plan in case Trump lost I guess.
