True dat. Every decision you make; every frustration, anger and disappoint that you fail to let go of; every time you abuse your body, a small crack or chip occurs. It's cumulative, like the cloud.

That is why I am sexy and handsome at age 61! :cookiemonster:

Not sure exactly what you mean by "deserve".

So, let's say you eat a lot of shit, your diet is shit, but you still look good in the face.  Your guts are fucked up, you got some bad shit going on there, did you deserve to get fat or some disease like say Ulcerative Colitis or some shit like that?  Should you have not abused your body eating too much corn or worse microwave popcorn by the Costco plan?

This thread is great.

OC is a very witty poster, love his style.

I'm going to start poking my head around here a lot more, seems to attract different kinds of individuals.

The pub is great and all, but sometimes I need something a little more.

I wonder what ever happened to Icelander, haven't seen him in awhile.

The Ice man caught himself a nasty degenerative and very painful disease. I'm not sure if we'll ever see him back again. His presence is definitely missed by many, he really was like a piece of the furniture in PS&P.

I hope he's dealing with it ok wherever he is, sending him some love.

Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Thanks man, I appreciate you saying. I don't feel like we've butted heads at all, although I do know that my strength of character can be abrasive to some. It's a LOT better than it was 10 years ago, I'll tell you that; I was one of the most aggressive people I've ever known back then. It's an ongoing life project to move more into the sphere of love and away from aggression, and it takes dedication, time and pain IMO to do so.

What hasn't changed in that whole time is my desire to foster and be a part of a strong and united team/community. That's been with me as long as I can remember. So even if I do rub you the wrong way at some point, please know that in my heart I'm always trying to do what's best for the community. But like every human, sometimes I fuck up.
